Public safety is more than preventing crime; it is about giving people the opportunity to change, rebuild their lives, and become better members of their families and communities. ๐ข๐๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐บ๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, walking with the people under our care with guidance, compassion, and hope, and helping turn second chances into meaningful new beginnings.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to our probation and parole officers for their dedication and service; to our probationers, parolees, and conditional pardonees who courageously choose to change and work toward becoming responsible and productive members of society; and to our families, volunteers, government agencies, local communities, and all our partners who continue to walk alongside us.
Crime prevention is a shared responsibility. When we choose to guide rather than give up, to restore rather than simply punish, and to believe in the possibility of change, we help create safer communities and a better Philippines. Together, let us make every second chance count.
