Look: The Pag-Abot Program Field Office 12 facilitated the participation of beneficiaries and their families in the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) PhilSys National ID registration conducted through the “Serbisyong Heneral” activity held in Barangay Labangal on June 4, 2026.

Pag-Abot staff provided guidance and support throughout the registration process to ensure that beneficiaries were properly accommodated and informed about the importance of obtaining a National ID as a valid form of identification. The PhilSys National ID enables individuals to access government services, social protection programs, financial services, and other essential opportunities that require valid identification.

Through the collaboration of concerned agencies and the BRAP-LCR initiative, a total of 20 individuals were successfully registered in the PhilSys system. This activity reflects the continued commitment of the Pag-Abot Program to helping vulnerable individuals and families establish their legal identity and gain improved access to essential services and government assistance.

LOOK: WGP Regional Program Management convenes for monthly review and food redemption feedback report today, June 4, 2026

The WGP Regional Program Management Officers, alongside key leadership, convened today for a comprehensive feedback and strategic review session aimed at optimizing regional program delivery and operational efficiency at DSWD RRCY, Tantangan, South Cotabato.

The meeting was led by Regional Program Head Norhata C. Benito, with key attendance and support from Division Chief Ryan D. Balanza. This meeting established a collaborative space for leadership to measure the program's impact and implement immediate solutions to localized operational challenges.

Look: The Pag-abot Field Office XII carried out a series of coordinated activities to support beneficiaries and their families in General Santos City on June 3, 2026. The team assisted one beneficiary in undergoing a psychological evaluation to identify the necessary interventions and ensure that she receives appropriate support. Simultaneously, the team continued processing missing documents required for the birth registration of beneficiaries.

A total of 28 individuals were served, including five primary beneficiaries and their 23 family members. The team also facilitated the enrollment of four children from two primary beneficiary families at Labangal Elementary School.

Additionally, the Pag-abot staff conducted a skills assessment and provided a financial literacy orientation for a newly reintegrated beneficiary. The activity aimed to assess his livelihood potential and equip him with essential financial management skills to help generate sustainable income, meet his family’s daily needs, and reduce the risk of returning to street dwelling.

EPAHP 12 participates in 4K program stakeholders’ round table discussion

The DSWD 12 Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) participated in the 4K Program Stakeholders’ Round Table Discussion on Signature Commodity in Ancestral Domain on June 4, 2026, at Paraiso Verde Resort, Koronadal City, led by the Department of Agriculture.

The discussion centered on the Corn Production Project in Sitio Mibolo, Barangay Baluan, Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat, a priority livelihood initiative for indigenous communities within the ancestral domain. Participating agencies presented programs and interventions that could support the project, while stakeholders identified key concerns and agreed on strategies to ensure its successful implementation.

The activity concluded with the adoption of the Signature Commodity in Ancestral Domain (SCAD) Development Plan and the commitment of partner agencies to work together in promoting sustainable livelihoods, food security, and inclusive development while preserving the cultural identity and heritage of indigenous peoples in Region XII.

EPAHP FO12 assists eight CBOs in SFP orientation and consultation

Koronadal City — The Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) field office XII facilitated and assisted eight (8) Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) during the Orientation and Consultation on the Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) Transfer of Funds (TOF) held at the South Cotabato Provincial Capitol, today, June 4, 2026.

The activity was spearheaded by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), in collaboration with the Provincial Procurement Office and Provincial Nutrition Office, to strengthen partnerships with local farmer organizations and ensure the effective implementation of the Supplementary Feeding Program.

The consultation aimed to ensure the participation of qualified and EPAHP-endorsed Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in the procurement process and assess the availability of locally produced agricultural commodities needed for the implementation of the Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP). Participating CBOs included LADIFA (Surallah), Tantangan SLPA Cooperative (Tantangan), TIAC (Tupi), SURBACIA (Banga), BRUFA Cooperative and Glammang Cooperative (Polomolok), Highlander Farmers Cooperative (T’boli), and Halal Farmers Cooperative (Sto. Niño).

During the activity, all participating organizations signified their commitment to engage in the procurement process through the Negotiated Procurement–Community Participation (NP-CP) modality under Republic Act No. 11321 or the Sagip Saka Act. This initiative strengthens market access for local farmers and fisherfolk organizations while supporting food security and the effective implementation of the Supplementary Feeding Program.

DSWD-EPAHP XII Shares Key Accomplishments at 2nd Quarter RSDC Meeting

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XII, through its Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) program, joined the 2nd Quarter Regular Meeting of the Regional Social Development Council (RSDC) held at NEAP XII in General Santos City. The meeting gathered regional directors and representatives from various national government agencies, SUCs, private organizations, development partners, and LGUs across Region XII to discuss key social development updates and concerns.

During the meeting, DSWD-EPAHP XII presented its accomplishments for 2025 and the first half of 2026, highlighting strengthened partnerships with LGUs, SUCs, CBOs, and the private sector. The program reported gains in providing market linkages, access to government procurement, and capacity-building support that helped community groups and smallholder farmers improve livelihoods and participate in supply chains.

Council members recognized EPAHP’s contribution in advancing food security, poverty reduction, and inclusive economic growth in the region. DSWD-EPAHP XII reaffirmed its commitment to sustained collaboration with partners to deliver programs that create meaningful and lasting impact for vulnerable communities across Region XII.

LOOK: The Walang Gutom Field Office XII staff paid a courtesy call to the Nutrition and Health Officials of Lutayan, Sultan Kudarat yesterday, June 1, 2026.

The meeting was led by Municipal Nutrition Action Officer Leah Mangudadatu. In attendance were Municipal Health Officer Dr. Wiljun O. Pangarintao; Sangguniang Bayan members Jinggoy Paja and Marlou Lacamento; Nutritionist-Dietitian Zienna Villan; Municipal Nutrition Program Coordinator Genevieve Lata; and local Barangay Nutrition Scholars.

The discussion focused on strengthening and maximizing preparations for the upcoming 3K (Kakayahan, Kalusugan, Kabuhayan) session in the municipality.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Pride Month, nakikiisa ang DSWD Field Office XII – Innovations Division sa pagtataguyod ng pagkakapantay-pantay, paggalang, at inklusibong lipunan para sa lahat. Kinikilala natin ang mahalagang ambag ng LGBTQIA+ community sa pagpapaunlad ng ating mga komunidad at sa pagsusulong ng makatao at makabuluhang serbisyo publiko.

Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang pagkakaiba-iba at palakasin ang kultura ng pagtanggap, respeto, at pagmamahal. Sa DSWD, bawat isa ay mahalaga, bawat boses ay naririnig, at bawat kulay ay may lugar sa ating iisang layunin ng malasakit at pagkakaisa.

TINGNAN: Matagumpay na naipamahagi ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XII ang mga food commodities para sa mga benepisyaryo ng Walang Gutom sa Rehiyon XII at BARMM nitong May 31 hanggang June 1, 2026.

Tinatayang nasa 2,556 na mga benepisyaryo mula sa mga munisipalidad ng Talayan at Buluan sa lalawigan ng Maguindanao del Sur ang nakatanggap ng kanilang mga food commodities.

Bukod dito, abot-langit din ang ngiti ng mga 653 na sambahayan sa Maasim, Sarangani Province matapos nilang matagumpay na ma-redeem ang mga wasto at masustansyang pagkain gamit ang kanilang mga electronic benefit transfer card.

Ang malawakang pamamahagi na ito ay bahagi ng patuloy na adhikaing itinataguyod ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.—ang tiyakin na sa pamamagitan ng tamang nutrisyon, wala nang pamilyang Pilipino ang magugutom.
