Ngayong ika-5 ng Hunyo 2026, pormal na nilagdaan ang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) sa pagitan ng Philippine Coconut Authority Region XII (PCA RXII) at General Santos Doctors’ Hospital (GSDH) bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap na mapalawak ang akses ng mga magniniyog sa de-kalidad na serbisyong pangkalusugan sa ilalim ng Health and Medical Program na hatid ng Coconut Farmers and Development Plan (CFIDP).

Pinangunahan ang paglagda ng kasunduan ni Sr. Mercilyn V. Jabel, SPC, kinatawan ng GSDH, habang si Jerry Prongco, Division Chief I, ang nanguna sa panig ng PCA Region XII.

Taos-pusong nagpapasalamat ang GSDH sa pagkakataong maging katuwang ng PCA RXII sa pagsusulong ng kapakanan ng mga magniniyog.

Binigyang-diin din nila ang kanilang pangakong maghatid ng de-kalidad na serbisyong medikal gamit ang kanilang makabagong pasilidad at specialized healthcare services na maipagmamalaki sa buong SOCCSKSARGEN Region.

Bilang tugon, pinasalamatan naman ni Jerry Prongco ang mainit na pagtanggap at buong suporta ng GSDH sa mga programa ng Philippine Coconut Authority na nakatuon sa kapakanan at kagalingan ng mga magniniyog.

Tinitiyak ng Health and Medical team ng PCA Region XII sa pangunguna ni PDO III Arah Mae N. Bonilla na lalo pa nilang sisipagan para madagdagan pa ang mga hospital sa buong rehiyon na magiging kaagapay nila sa pagtupad ng kanilang tungkulin na mabigyan ang mga rehistradong magniniyog ng nararapat na serbisyong medikal.

𝗞𝗢𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 — Isang makasaysayan at produktibong araw ang sumalubong sa Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan - Regional Implementing Agencies Technical Committee (CFIDP-RIATC) Region XII matapos nitong matagumpay na isagawa ang kanilang 4th RIATC Meeting noong Hunyo 3, 2026.

Ang pangunahing highlight ng pagtitipon ay ang opisyal na launching ng kauna-unahang CFIDP Newsletter sa buong Pilipinas. Bukod sa launching, naging sentro rin ng aktibidad ang isang fruitful workshop para sa Coco Academy Convergence Projects. Sa pamamagitan ng workshop na ito, mas pinagtibay ng mga ahensya ang kanilang pagkakaisa upang makabuo ng mga komprehensibo at epektibong pagsasanay na magpapaangat sa kakayahan ng mga lokal na magniniyog.

Ang lahat ng inisyatibang ito—mula sa pagpapakalat ng impormasyon hanggang sa mga convergence projects—ay binuo at isinasagawa para sa kapakanan, pag-unlad, at kagalingan ng mga magniniyog ng Rehiyon Dose. Sa patuloy na pagtutulungan ng RIATC XII at ng mga katuwang na ahensya, mas lalo pang palalawigin ang mga serbisyong direktang magpapabago sa buhay ng mga magsasaka ng niyog sa rehiyon.

Noong Mayo 26, 2026, nilagdaan ng Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Region XII at Dr. Arturo P. Pingoy Medical Center ang isang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) para sa pagbibigay ng mas malawak at dekalidad na serbisyong medikal sa mga magniniyog ng rehiyon.

Pinangunahan ang paglagda nina Mr. Jessie Demonteverde, Division Chief ng PCA South Cotabato Provincial Office, at Ms. Arah Mae Bonilla, Head Regional Social Worker ng PCA Health and Medical Division, kasama ang mga kinatawan at kawani ng nasabing ospital.

Ang kasunduang ito ay bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng PCA Region XII na mapangalagaan ang kalusugan at kapakanan ng mga magniniyog, bilang pagkilala sa kanilang mahalagang ambag sa pagpapaunlad ng industriya ng niyog.

As we celebrate 𝗦𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, we recognize that protecting and enriching our soil is essential in achieving a sustainable and productive coconut industry for future generations.

In line with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to strengthen the coconut industry through the 100 Million Coconut Trees Planting Project, the Philippine Coconut Authority continues to promote responsible coconut planting and replanting across the country.

Through the 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘆𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 initiative, millions of Filipinos are encouraged to unite in planting coconut trees while practicing proper soil conservation methods such as organic fertilization, intercropping, and sustainable farming. These efforts help prevent soil erosion, improve farm productivity, and protect the environment.

Every coconut palm planted on healthy soil is a symbol of hope, resilience, and a better future for coconut farmers and their families.

Sa bawat punlang niyog na itinatanim, may lupang pinangangalagaan at kinabukasang isinusulong.
