📢 NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

Please be informed that the NCIP Sudipen Community Service Center will be CLOSED on October 8–9, 2026 (Thursday–Friday) as the personnel will attend the NCIP Region 1 Regional IP Summit (AWENG 2026) in Sison, Pangasinan.

Regular office operations will resume on Monday, October 12, 2026.

Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representatives (IPMRs) submitted their respective Monthly Accomplishment Reports to the NCIP Sudipen Community Service Center, documenting their activities, participation, and initiatives undertaken in the performance of their duties and in representing the interests and welfare of the Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs).

The regular submission of accomplishment reports supports proper documentation and monitoring of IPMR activities and strengthens coordination between the IPMRs and NCIP in advancing responsive and effective Indigenous Peoples representation.

NCIP SUDIPEN COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER JOINS OCTOBER FLAG-RAISING CEREMONY

The NCIP Sudipen Community Service Center participated in the First Monday Flag-Raising Ceremony of the Municipality of Sudipen held on October 5, 2026.

During the ceremony, Ms. Salud B. Umaybas-Dalog, CDO III and Service Center Head, highlighted that October is celebrated as Indigenous Peoples (IP) Month, a significant occasion to recognize, honor, and promote the rights, culture, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples.

Ms. Umaybas-Dalog also extended an invitation to everyone to participate in the upcoming IP Summit – “AWENG 2026,” to be held in Sison, Pangasinan. The summit is an opportunity to celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ culture, strengthen partnerships, and promote greater understanding and support for IP rights and development.

Let us continue to celebrate and support our Indigenous Peoples and their rich cultural heritage. ❤️💚💛

IN PHOTOS | INDIGENOUS PEOPLES’ MONTH CELEBRATION 2026

The Indigenous Cultural Community of Daking, San Gabriel, La Union celebrated Indigenous Peoples’ Month on October 3, 2026, at Sasaig, Daking, bringing together community members in a meaningful celebration of their living culture, traditions, unity, and identity.

This year’s celebration carried the theme:
“Siged ay Ugali, Nais-ek sin Pammati, Tawid Di Umili.”
The celebration highlighted the importance of keeping indigenous customs and traditions alive, strengthening the values and beliefs passed down by the ancestors, and ensuring that this rich cultural heritage continues to be treasured and transmitted to future generations.

Through unity and active community participation, the celebration served as a reminder that indigenous culture remains strong when it is practiced, valued, shared, and passed on.

Sa pagdiriwang ng National Indigenous Peoples Month at paggunita sa ika-29 anibersaryo ng IPRA, pinasalamatan ni NCIP Secretary Nancy Catamco ang mga katutubong lider na patuloy na tumitindig para sa kanilang mga komunidad.

Hangad ni Sec. Nancy na makasama ang bawat lider sa direksyon ng NCIP tungo sa “𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙗𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣: 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙪𝙣𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣”.
