During the visit, the officials informed Governor Dalipog that the Kiangan Mini Hydro Project officially resumed its construction phase on July 13, 2026, following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) to Sta. Clara International Corporation (SCIC). //CBD

LOOK: New Brigade Commander Pays Courtesy Visit to Governor Dalipog

The newly designated Brigade Commander of the 501st Infantry (Valiant) Brigade, 5th Infantry Division (5ID), Philippine Army (PA), Brigadier General Darrell R. Bañez, accompanied by key officers of the 501st Infantry (Valiant) Brigade, paid a courtesy visit to Ifugao Governor Jerry U. Dalipog at the Provincial Governor’s Office on Tuesday, July 21.

The visit served as an opportunity to formally introduce Brig. Gen. Bañez following the inclusion of the Province of Ifugao in the brigade's new Area of Responsibility (AOR). It also provided a venue to discuss matters of mutual concern and explore ways to further strengthen the partnership and coordination between the Provincial Government of Ifugao (PGI) and the 501st Infantry (Valiant) Brigade in advancing peace, security, and sustainable development initiatives throughout the province.

Also present during the meeting was Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer (PSWDO) Ms. Imelda N. Tuguinay, who joined the discussions.

The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their shared commitment to fostering a strong and collaborative partnership in support of the province's continued progress and the well-being of the Ifugao people. //CBD

Ifugao State University (IFSU) President Dr. Freddie B. Caday paid a courtesy call with Ifugao Governor Jerry U. Dalipog on July 20, 2026, at the Provincial Governor's Office.

The visit served as an opportunity for President Caday to personally express his appreciation and gratitude to the Provincial Government of Ifugao (PGI) and to reaffirm IFSU's commitment to strengthening its partnership with the provincial government.

The meeting also provided a venue to discuss opportunities for deeper collaboration and other strategic initiatives that will contribute to the realization of their shared vision and aspirations for the people of Ifugao. //CBD
