Community Engagement through Dialogue and Distribution of IEC Materials

On October 9, 2026, Pat Jielson G Sabacahay, CAD PNCO, and Pat Elvin Jun B Nangkil, Asst. CAD, under the direct supervision of PCPT MARK ANTHONY G APSAY, Officer-in-Charge of PS5, LCPO, conducted an enhanced police presence, information drive through dialogue and distributed Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials on Crime Prevention, Effects of E-Sabong, the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign in line with the Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) initiatives, and Anti-Terrorism Awareness in relation to NTF-ELCAC to the Mall goers at Island Central Mall, Barangay Ibo, Lapu-Lapu City.

This initiative aims to raise public awareness, enhance vigilance, and promote active community participation, as part of the continuing effort to maintain peace, order, and security within the community.

Community Engagement through Dialogue and Distribution of IEC Materials

On October 9, 2026, Pat Jielson G Sabacahay, CAD PNCO, and Pat Elvin Jun B Nangkil, Asst. On October 9, 2026, personnel of this station, under the direct supervision of PCPT MARK ANTHONY G APSAY, Officer-in-Charge of Police Station 5, intensified police visibility and preventive patrol operations to help ensure the safety and security of students, teachers, and school personnel at Pusok National High School, Bankal Elementary School , Lapu-Lapu City.

This initiative aims to strengthen existing school safety and security measures and foster a safe, secure, and conducive learning environment where students can pursue their education with confidence and peace of mind. Through proactive police presence and community engagement, Police Station 5 reaffirms its commitment to protecting the youth and supporting educational institutions in building a culture of safety and preparedness.
