The Unified Homeowners Associations in Lapu-lapu City (UHOA) invites all member HOAs to participate in the UHOA Sports Festival 2026, a celebration of sportsmanship, unity, and healthy competition.

📌 HOA Learning Session & Recognition Ceremony | December 13, 2025

The Homeowners Association in Subdivisions and Condominiums Affairs-HOASCAO CMO, in partnership with the Unified Homeowners Associations in Lapu-lapu City , successfully held a Learning Session on HOA Financial Management and Filing of Collection Cases for Non-Paying Members, together with the Recognition of Outstanding HOAs, at Goldberry Suites & Hotel Mactan

The event gathered around 150 HOA Board Directors, officers, and community leaders from various subdivisions across Lapu-Lapu City—all proud members of UHOA. It was a meaningful and empowering session aimed at strengthening good governance, financial discipline, and legal preparedness among Homeowners' Associations.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our distinguished speakers:

• Settlement and Adjudication Commission (HSAC) Legal Department
Atty. Clifford Caballero, CPA – who clearly explained the why, when, and how of filing collection cases against non-paying members, equipping HOAs with the knowledge to take proper and lawful action.

• Homeowners Association in Subdivisions and Condominiums Affairs-HOASCAO CMO
Atty. Mark Vincent Alabastro, Executive Director – who shared practical and cost-efficient approaches to filing cases against delinquent members.

• A-DMA Accountancy and Tax Consultancy Services
Ms. Jeneveth B. Mosqueda, CPA – who provided valuable insights and best practices on HOA financial management.

Through the Capacitating HOAs in Creating DRRM Committees session, subdivision leaders learned how to organize and respond effectively in times of disaster.

With valuable insights from Dr. Nagiel Banacia & Mr. Andy Berame (LDRRMO) and Ms. Bernadette Flores (DHSUD 7)—and the participation of 40+ subdivisions in Lapulapu City—we are building safer, more resilient neighborhoods together.
