The Committee on Tourism, Culture and Heritage, chaired by Councilor Alan O. Rañola, conducted a committee hearing on September 28, 2026, to discuss the proposed ordinance institutionalizing the Legazpi City Creative Industries Development Board (LCCIDB).

The hearing brought together representatives from different sectors to discuss the proposed composition, functions, and coordination of the Board. Among the matters raised was the inclusion of the Department of the Interior and Local Government, while TESDA expressed support for the initiative and highlighted the importance of skills mapping in addressing the skills gap in the creative sector.

Through committee discussions and consultations, the proposed measure continues to undergo review toward strengthening support for Legazpi City's creative industries and developing opportunities for its creative sector.

Councilor Alan O. Rañola took part in a committee hearing held at the Albay Provincial Office, where matters concerning local governance and public service were discussed and deliberated.

The hearing provided an opportunity to review the relevant concerns, clarify details, and ensure that proposed measures are properly considered before moving forward through the appropriate legislative process.
