05/06/2026

This month, we proudly celebrate the 31st Migrant Workersโ€™ Day, a fitting tribute to the hardworking overseas Filipino workers whose dedication, resilience, and sacrifice continue to uplift their families and the nation. As modern-day Bayani, they thrive even in adversity and remain beacons of hope through their resilience and excellence. With the whole-of-nation approach to governance under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., we continue to work together to support the full-cycle reintegration of OFWs, especially those who have returned home temporarily or permanently.

With this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œBayan, Bayani, Bayanihan,โ€ we recognize the powerful connection among our nation, our heroes, and our community. Let us continue to support and empower our migrant workers, ensuring their contributions are valued and their welfare protected.

Happy 31st Migrant Workersโ€™ Day to all overseas Filipino workers!

Legazpi City โ€” Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng ika-31 Migrant Workersโ€™ Day noong Hunyo 3, 2026, nagsanib-puwersa ang Commission on Human Rights (CHR) at Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Regional Office V upang maghatid ng mga programang naglalayong palakasin ang kaalaman at proteksyon ng mga Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) at kanilang mga pamilya.
