2ND CBMS COORDINATING BOARD MEETING | The 2nd Municipal Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Coordinating Board Meeting was held on October 5, 2026, at the Conference Room, led by Mayor Atty. Markgregor Edward C. Sayson together with representatives from the PSA Provincial Statistical Office of Albay.

The meeting took a closer look at the status of the 2024 CBMS Data Turnover, the 2026–2027 schedule of activities, and the updated 2027 CBMS Resource Allocation Tool. Discussions also covered map research and the documentary requirements for data turnover, highlighting the importance of accurate geographic and community information.

Beyond planning and budgeting, reliable CBMS and geographic data can help strengthen coordination among barangays and neighboring municipalities, particularly in communities located along administrative boundaries. Clear and validated information can help facilitate dialogue, clarify areas of responsibility, and support evidence-based discussions when concerns involving border areas, jurisdiction, or overlapping community needs arise.

Ultimately, CBMS data is more than a collection of statistics. It helps the LGU understand who needs assistance, where interventions are needed, and how resources can be directed more effectively.
