Movement of Students for Progressive Leadership in the University of the Philippines. Founded in 2011, MOVE U.P. Circle of Individuals. MOVE U.P. (AKMA U.P.)
is a formation of organizations, fraternities and other groups within UPLB that strive to leave a mark in the struggle for social progress and social change in the university and the country. Member organizations include SINAG CAS, KATIPUNAN CHE, LETS CDC, Akbayan Youth UPLB, Upsilon Sigma Phi, Society of Men, and MOVE U.P. It also hosts the Circle of Leaders, an annual training for the freshmen t
o serve as a venue for them to be active movers of the university and the country even as freshmen students. is also involved in nationwide campaigns for particular legislative measures that are necessary towards achieving greater change in society, through its membership in national networks and coalitions such as the Reproductive Health and Gender Advocates, the Freedom of Information Youth Initiative of the Right to Know, Right Now Coalition, the Youth for Sin Tax, the Youth Against Debt Coalition, the Coalition for Students' Rights and Welfare, Youth Against Pork and others. Within U.P., MOVE U.P. has affiliate political formations that seek to introduce reforms in a systemwide scale. Through Bukluran UP System, we have alliances with Alternatibong Katipunan ng mga Mag-aaral ng U.P. in UP Baguio, Bigkis ng mga Iskolar Para sa Bayan Tungo sa Makabuluhang Pagbabago UP Manila (BIGKIS-UPM), Alyansa ng mga Mag-aaral para sa Panlipunang Katwiran at Kaunlaran of UP Diliman (ALYANSA), Partido sang Mainuswagon nga Bumulutho UP Visayas Miagao (PMB), Union of Progressive Students UP Cebu (UPS), and People United to Lead, Obey, and Serve UP Mindanao (PULOS).
