Thank you to everyone who joined Tugnaw, our beginner-friendly machine knitting workshop by Likhaan x Amat-Amat, Hibla to our creative host! It was a joy to see participants learn how to operate a knitting machine, explore Philippine textiles, and create their very first knitted pieces.
Your creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm made the workshop truly special. We hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we did and that this is just the beginning of your journey into textile and fiber arts.
Maraming salamat to everyone who attended and supported the workshop! โจ

Last February 7, we welcomed the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada to our space at The Astbury for a Basic Weaving Workshop, where participants learned the fundamentals of weaving and experienced firsthand the rhythm and patience behind handwoven textiles.
Through simple looms and guided practice, we shared not just technique, but stories, showing how weaving connects communities, cultures, and everyday life.
Thank you to the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada for spending time with us and supporting the exchange of culture through making.
Want to book your own weaving workshop? Message us to know more! โค๏ธ
