Mahigpit na sinusubaybayan ng United Arab Emirates ang anunsyo ng Pangulo ng Estados Unidos na si Donald Trump hinggil sa dalawang linggong tigil-putukan sa pagitan ng Estados Unidos at Iran, at naghahangad ng karagdagang paglilinaw sa mga probisyon ng kasunduan upang matiyak ang buong pagsunod ng Iran sa agarang pagtigil ng lahat ng labanan sa rehiyon at ang ganap at walang kondisyong muling pagbubukas ng Strait of Hormuz.

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met today with His Excellency Ferdinand R Marcos Jr, President of the Republic of the Philippines, to review the two countries’ longstanding ties.
