On October 29, 2025, at about 4:00 PM in Mandaluyong City, operatives of the Eastern District Anti-Cybercrime Team conducted an entrapment operation that led to the arrest of a 38-year-old man, alias “Julius,” for the illegal online sale of financial accounts through Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards.
"Julius" is facing charges for violation of Section 5(d) of RA No. 12010 (Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act or AFASA of 2024) in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).
Brigadier General Bernard R. Yang, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, commended the operatives for the successful operation. He also stated, “The sale of financial accounts is often used as a tool for fraud, scams, and other cybercrimes. The PNP ACG urges the public to be cautious and avoid involvement in these unlawful activities. Reporting suspicious transactions helps protect not only your identity but also the broader digital community.”

On October 29, 2025, at 5:12 PM in Quezon City, operatives of the Quezon City District Anti-Cybercrime Team conducted an entrapment operation that led to the custody of a 16-year-old girl, alias “AAA,” for extorting money from a man using the victim’s n**e photos and videos.
The minor is facing charges for violations of Article 294 (Robbery with Intimidation of Persons) of the Revised Penal Code, in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).
Brigadier General Bernard R. Yang, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, commended the operatives for the successful operation. He also stated, "Sextortion is a serious crime that preys on fear and shame. The PNP ACG will relentlessly go after those who commit such acts and ensure that they face the full force of the law. We urge the public to be vigilant online and to immediately report any form of digital blackmail or harassment."

On October 29, 2025, at about 6:15 PM in Camalaniugan, Cagayan, operatives of the Santiago City Cyber Response Team implemented a Warrant to Search, Seize, and Examine Computer Data (WSSECD) against the residence of a woman, for her involvement in online scam.

A smartphone was seized from the suspect and subjected to the digital forensic examination of RACU 2.

He emphasized, "The PNP ACG remains steadfast in pursuing cybercrime offenders. Let this serve as a reminder that crimes committed online carry legal consequences. On October 30, 2025, at 8:48 AM, in Panitan, Capiz, operatives of Regional Anti-Cyber Crime Unit 6 arrested a 36-year-old man, alias "Gideon," by virtue of a duly issued warrant of arrest.
"Gideon" is facing charges for violation of Article 310 (Qualified Theft) of the Revised Penal Code, in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012), with bail set at Php90,000.00.

He also stated, “The PNP ACG will continue to track and apprehend cybercriminals who exploit digital platforms for personal gain. On October 30, 2025, at about 9:20 AM in Calamba City, Laguna, operatives of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 4A conducted an entrapment operation that led to the arrest of a 25-year-old woman, alias "Happy," for the illegal online sale of an electronic payment account.

"Happy" is facing charges for violation of Section 5(d) of RA No. 12010 (Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act or AFASA) in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).

He also reminded the public, stating, “Your financial accounts are your personal responsibility. Never sell, share, or lend them to others, as these may be used for scams and illegal activities. On October 30, 2025, at about 12:30 PM in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, the AlengPulis Cybersquad of the Women and Children Cybercrime Protection Unit (WCCPU), in coordination with the Bulacan City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), conducted an operation that led to the rescue of a 15-year-old girl, alias "Mulan," following a report from her father of online child abuse.
"Mulan" is immediately referred to the Bulacan CSWDO for psychological assessment, evaluation, and intervention.

He stated, “The protection of children from online abuse is one of our foremost priorities. 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐑𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐄𝐂

In an order dated September 17, 2025, the Regional Trial Court of San Jose, Antique, convicted a man, alias "Noel," for violations of Sections 4(b) and (r) of RA No. 11930 (Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children or OSAEC and Anti-Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials or CSAEM Act).

He was sentenced to serve an imprisonment of eight years and one day, as minimum, to twelve years, as maximum, and was ordered to pay a fine of Php200,000.00 for each case.

The case emanated from the implementation of Warrant to Search, Seize, and Examine Computer Data by the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 6 against the accused on October 16, 2024, that resulted in the recovery of several CSAEM.

Yang, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, lauded the operatives for the court's conviction of their arrested individual. “Those who exploit and abuse children will be held accountable and punished to the fullest extent of the law. We remind the public to stay vigilant and immediately report any signs of child exploitation, whether online or offline. Together, we can protect our children and ensure justice for the victims,” he added.

On October 30, 2025, at about 1:30 PM in Sta. Mesa, Manila, operatives of the Manila District Anti-Cybercrime Team conducted an entrapment operation that led to the arrest of a 29-year-old man, alias "Tisoy," for the illegal online sale of an electronic payment account.
"Tisoy" is facing charges for violation of Section 5(d) of RA No. 12010 (Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act or AFASA) in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).

On October 30, 2025, at 4:50 PM in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, operatives of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 13 arrested a 30-year-old woman, alias "Chie," by virtue of a duly issued warrant of arrest.
"Chie" is facing charges for violation of Section 4(c)4 (Libel) of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012), with bail set at Php10,000.00.

He emphasized, “The PNP ACG remains resolute in upholding justice in the online environment.
