The Embassy of Canada in the Philippines is expanding its area of responsibility!

Ambassador David Hartman recently presented his Letter of Credence to His Excellency, President Surangel S. Whipps Jr, to become Canada’s 7th non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Palau.

Diplomatic ties between Canada and Palau were established in 1997 and enhanced by shared priorities on climate action, environment conservation, maritime security, and Indo-Pacific engagement.

We look forward to deepening our partnership with Palau through the Embassy of Canada here in Manila and serving Canadians living in and visiting the country. 🇨🇦🇵🇼
