𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), in partnership with the Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM), officially launched the first-ever Mobile Soil Laboratory in the Municipality of Pandag, the first pilot deployment municipality in the BARMM Region.

The activity was attended by Dr. Esmael S. Satol, Dr. Paisal Paglala, MMO Sir Jimson Lumapinit, Hon. Vice Mayor Sanny Macalintangui, ABC President Hon. Bajorie K. Balayman, Municipal Administrator Ma’am Wahjannabia K. Balayman, and farmers from various barangays.

The training focused on soil sample collection, geotagging, Soil Test Kit (STK) analysis, and proper soil management practices to improve crop productivity and promote sustainable agriculture.

The program concluded with a message from Engr. Manan A. Abdulwahab emphasizing the importance of healthy soil in achieving food security, environmental protection, and better livelihoods for farmers.

Special thanks to Municipal Mayor Hon. Mohajeran K. Balayman, JD, MPA, for his continued support for agriculture and fisheries development initiatives.

Congratulations to the thirty-six (36) successful LET Passers who completed the MAGUNGAYA Free LET Review Program through the support of the Local Government Unit of Pandag and the Falculan Twins’ Review Center.

These passers successfully took and passed the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) held on March 15, 2026.

Your success is a reflection of your hard work, perseverance, and dedication in pursuing quality education and public service. May this achievement inspire more aspiring teachers in our municipality to continue striving for excellence.

The LGU of Pandag, headed by Hon. Mohajeran K. Balayman, remains committed to supporting programs that empower the youth and strengthen the future of education in our community.

IN PHOTOS | Creation of the Municipal Agriculture and Fisheries Council (MAFC) and Election of Officers

The activity was led by MMO Sir Jimson Lumapinit, LAgr., who discussed the mandates and functions of the Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF), together with Engr. Manan Abdulwahab, Municipal Agriculturist, who emphasized the role of the MAFC in strengthening the agriculture and fisheries sector.

The event was attended by Municipal Administrator Ma’am Wahjanabia K. Balayman, Hon. Vice Mayor Sanny Macalintangui, and MCDO Ma’am Norsia M. Endap, who expressed full support for the Council’s programs and initiatives.

Mr. Rasul M. Endap was elected as MAFC Chairperson, committing to lead with dedication and service.

The Municipality extends its sincere gratitude to Hon. Mayor Mohajeran “Odjie” K. Balayman for his unwavering support in advancing the agriculture and fisheries sector.

This initiative aims to enhance coordination, participation, and effective implementation of agricultural programs in the municipality.
