Good news‼️ Orchid Homes water supply is back yesterday, Jan 17,2021. We would like to commend the office of City Mayor Celso Regencia and ICWS for responding to our appeal thru the effort of our Purok Officers and Orchid Homes Idps, Inc BODs. The last two months have been difficult to all of us that this restoration of our supply is always a blessing 💎Thank you for your support and May God bless us all❤️

We are thankful to the City Government of Iligan and NAWASA for their immediate action assessing our water problem in our subdivision. We will be sending another follow-up letter early this year so they could finally solve it.

We are also thankful to the BODs who suggested this move for this month long concern. Special mention to our Auditor Brod George Ricaplaza for his hardwork in handing out our letter and monitoring on the works done for our water problem.

NOTICE:

Ms. Feny M. Echavez, voted as PIO in our special meeting last July 26, 2020, expressed her concerns in the delivery of service to the group because she now lives in Cagayan de Oro City.

With this, she submitted her resignation to the position dated August 12, 2020, and the BODs understand the situation and granted her request. Thus, Ms. Feny M. Echavez is no longer our PIO and part of the Board effective today, August 14, 2020.

Updates!
Last August 3, 2020 the EWMPC represented by its Board together with the President and VP of our organization met to discuss the following items, based on our letter-request sent last July 2, 2020.

1. Collectible of Php 5,000.00 for each non-member of OHIDPs, Inc who availed the housing project.
Discussion: EWMPC told us that they have not collected such amount from the non-OHIDPs member.
Our Stand: Before the project started, EWMPC already agreed to collect such amount by affixing their signature on the MOA, thus, we should collect such amount.

2. Php 200,000.00 Refund.
Discussion: EWMPC will refund the amount, but no timetable has been set yet.

OHIDPs, Inc. BOD Decision
Last August 9, 2020 the BODs held a meeting regarding the issues that we are facing particularly the response of EWMPC for item 1. The BODs decided to consult a legal counsel to guide us in our next moves to address the pressing issue.

We would like to remind also the Members that we are constrained with our movements as of this time because of the restrictions brought about by the City Executive Order in response to Local Transmissions of COVID-19 happening within our city.

Rest assured that we, the VOLUNTEERS, are working hard to give you timely results.

In a special meeting held last July 26, 2020, the BODs have come up with the following plans, to wit:
1. Our group has initiated last July 2, 2020 to collect the money due to us by virtue of the MOA with EWMPC. The notice is attached in this post.
2. Full Refund of Reservation Fee will be afforded to members who did not continue the housing project.
The member has to show the original receipt to claim the refund. If member lost the original receipt, it is important to produce affidavit of loss attached with a valid ID.
2. Refund will be in a form of a cashier's check and the organization will shoulder the cost of Php 50/check.
3. Refund will commence upon compliance of EWMPC to our request.
4. New Set of Officers are:

Carlito Casino - Vice President
Wilfredo Saladaga - Treasurer
George Ricaplaza - Auditor
Chichi Parreno - Secretary
Feny Echavez - PIO
5. BODs tasks as follow:
1. Submit reports to SEC and BIR.
2. Update Bank Account details.
3. Continuously Work with EWMPC wrt Collectibles
6. Proposal:
Use the remaining amount of organizational money to establish a cooperative.

Pag-IBIG Housing Update

We have visited the Pag-IBiG office here in Manila regarding our housing concern and the action regarding our letter sent 4 years ago. After the discussion with VP Fermin Sta. Teresa some issues were made clear, as follows:
1. No interests and/or penalties were added into the outstanding balance after Sendong.
2. These items are still under the approval of the top Pag-IBIG management:
a. We can chose to keep the Orchids property and avail of a new housing loan;
b. Payment will commence after the lifting of the Danger Zone declaration.

We have been given direct contact to the VP and the Manager of Pag-IBIG CDO.
VP Fermin is supporting us in our plight and promised to extend the help and assistance we deserved.
