𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The Coast Guard Special Operations Force (CGSOF) formally commenced the 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 with a remarkable display of energy, discipline, and camaraderie. The opening day began with a company run, symbolizing unity, endurance, and the unwavering spirit of the Force. This was followed by a dynamic zumba session to energize and foster enthusiasm while promoting physical wellness among all participants.

The event continued with an intense and highly competitive basketball match, exemplifying the core values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, the true hallmarks of every CGSOF warrior.

The annual Sportsfest, held as part of the 𝗖𝗚𝗦𝗢𝗙 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝟱𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, serves not only as a celebration of athletic excellence, but also as a testament to the spirit of brotherhood, wellness, and resilience within our ranks. As the games officially commence, every participant is reminded that true victory lies not only in triumph, but in the shared pursuit of teamwork, perseverance, and honor.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: As the kickoff event of its 2-month pre-anniversary activities, and in commemoration of its 53rd year of excellence and resilience, the Coast Guard Special Operations Force (CGSOF) conducted a Bloodletting Activity on 21 October 2025 at the PCG Gymnasium, Coast Guard Base Farola, Muelle Dela Industria, Farola Compound, Binondo, Manila, in partnership with the Coast Guard Auxiliary District National Capital Region - Central Luzon (CGAD NCR–CL) and its squadrons, Serving Hearts headed by Ms. Jakielyn Santos, and Unihealth-Santa Rosa headed by Ms. Laideling Eldian.

With the theme “𝙇𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙖𝙤𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙠𝙖𝙝𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣, 𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙗𝙤𝙜 𝙣𝙜 𝙣𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙖𝙣, 𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙜 𝙨𝙖 𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙠𝙪𝙮𝙖𝙣,” this humanitarian activity stands as a living testament to CGSOF’s enduring mission — not only to protect and defend, but also to serve with compassion and humanity.

More than a ceremonial event, this act of giving symbolizes the same spirit that drives every CGSOF operator: the courage to save lives, whether in the depths of the sea or in the quiet walls of a hospital.

As CGSOF celebrates 53 years of steadfast service, this initiative reminds us that true strength lies not only in valor, but in compassion — for even warriors have the gentlest of hearts.

𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸: The Coast Guard Special Operations Force (CGSOF) prepared a static display at the HCGSOF Shaded Area, Coast Guard Base Farola, Binondo, Manila on 14 October 2025, to welcome retired Coast Guard personnel who visited the unit together with the Coast Guard Retirement and Benefits Administration Service (CGRBAS) as part of the activities for the 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗖𝗚 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀’ 𝗗𝗮𝘆.

The event, spearheaded by CGRBAS and held at the Amosup Convention Hall, Intramuros, Manila, carries the theme “𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚.” It honors the service and sacrifices of PCG retirees whose legacy continues to inspire the men and women of the Philippine Coast Guard.

𝐂𝐆𝐒𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈: Five (5) personnel from the Coast Guard Special Operations Force (CGSOF) proudly represented the Philippine Coast Guard during the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, held at PhilSports Arena, Meralco Avenue, Pasig City, on 11 October 2025.

Our CGSOF athletes showcased exceptional skill, discipline, and determination, earning a total of 2 golds, 6 silvers, and 1 bronze for the Command:

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: From 04 to 05 October 2025, the Coast Guard Special Operations Force (CGSOF) participated in the Department of Health’s (DOH) 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 “𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗮” held at Burnham Green Park, Ermita, Manila.

During the event, CGSOF personnel conducted an informative lecture on drowning prevention and water safety tips, aimed at raising public awareness on life-saving measures and promoting responsible water activities.

This initiative, organized by the Department of Health (DOH), forms part of the CGSOF’s continuing commitment to promote safety, preparedness, and public education in support of the Philippine Coast Guard’s (PCG) mission of saving lives and protecting the maritime domain.

LOOK: Coast Guard Special Operations Force (CGSOF) activated its Deployable Response Groups (DRGs) to support Typhoon Opong relief efforts and provide rapid response capabilities to help affected communities.

𝐂𝐆𝐒𝐎𝐅’𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐑 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 “𝐊𝐀-𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐄” 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐔𝐌

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: On 24 September 2025, the women of Coast Guard Special Operations Force proudly took part in the inaugural CGSOF’s Senior Leadership "𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗲" Forum at Citystate Tower Hotel, Malate, Manila—an event aligned with the Philippine Coast Guard’s ongoing series of Gender and Development (GAD) forums across its major units and services.

The empowering discussions on Women, Peace, and Security Framework and Sexual Harassment and Assault were led by 𝗖𝗗𝗥 𝗖𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘 𝗥 𝗝𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗭 𝗣𝗖𝗚, Director CGGAD Center. Thereafter, the roundtable exchange was conducted wherein the issues and concerns of CGSOF female personnel were heard. Accordingly, inspiring insights were shared by PCG’s Senior Female Leaders led by 𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗠 𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗭𝗜𝗘 𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗢 𝗣𝗖𝗚. Most notable of which were the words of RADM CAMPO: “𝘬𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘳 𝘬𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘪𝘯 𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘢 𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘬𝘴𝘺𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘬𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘢”.

As reflected in the Philippine Coast Guard-wide GAD forum schedule, “Ka-mare” is not just a CGSOF milestone but also part of the organization’s nationwide commitment to inclusivity, empowerment, and progressive leadership.

To officially conclude the program, 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗧 𝗝𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗬 𝗕 𝗡𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗗 𝗣𝗖𝗚, Acting Commander of the Coast Guard Special Operations Force, delivered a message of appreciation and inspiration. He emphasized the importance of inclusivity and strong leadership across all levels of the organization, reminding everyone that “𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴” His words served as a powerful closing note, reinforcing the CGSOF and the Philippine Coast Guard’s commitment to fostering diversity, unity, and excellence in service.
