In coordination with the Manila Health Department (MHD), the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) successfully conducted the Wellness 101: Health Awareness and Education Program for NPDC Employees as part of its Health and Wellness Plan for FY 2026.

On 07 April 2026, we marked the successful conduct of the NPDC Learning Series: An Echo Session on the Symposium on Fees and Charges.

We commend our internal speakers who continue to share their expertise and inspire learning across the organization. Through initiatives like this, ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐š๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐•๐š๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐š ๐“. ๐ƒ๐ž๐œ๐ซ๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ๐จ, ๐€๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ ๐• (๐ˆ๐ง๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ ๐ˆ๐ˆ๐ˆ) of the Cultural and Public Affairs Division (CPAD), exemplified how knowledge gained can be transformed into meaningful discussions that benefit everyone.

More than a platform for sharing knowledge, the activity highlighted the value of tapping internal expertise while strengthening presentation and facilitation skills. It helped build confidence, enhance communication, and foster a culture of continuous growth within the organization.

Hereโ€™s to more opportunities that spotlight internal talents and cultivate excellence from within! ๐Ÿ‘

As part of the National Parks Development Committeeโ€™s Mental Health Program, we opened a safe, meaningful space for reflection, connection, and spiritual growth through our regular Bible Study sessions, which began this March and will continue in the coming months.

Anchored on the belief that true well-being goes beyond the physical and mental, this initiative supports our Spiritual Wellness, one of the key dimensions in building a balanced, resilient, and purpose-driven workforce.

Held on the second and third Thursdays of every month, these sessions invite employees to pause, reflect, and find strength in faith while sharing insights and life experiences.

At NPDC, we believe supporting our people goes beyond work to include caring for their mind, body, and spirit.

A step forward toward a smarter and more transparent public service ๐Ÿ’ก

On 23 March 2026, the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) kicked off its digital transformation journey with the Briefer on the Budget and Treasury Management System (BTMS) at The Gallery, Rizal Park Luneta, Manila, facilitated by personnel from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).

With twenty-eight (28) participants from various divisions, the session provided a foundational understanding of how government financial processes are evolving, moving toward automation, real-time reporting, and greater accountability.

Learning doesn't end here. This is just the start. A series of upcoming workshops and activities will continue to prepare our personnel for the full rollout of BTMS.

Together, we move forward, learning, adapting, and building a more efficient and future-ready NPDC.

The National Parks Development Committee successfully conducted โ€œUsapang Pinansyal: FUNdamentals of Financeโ€ on 24 February 2026 at the Open-Air Backstage Area, Rizal Park Luneta.

The session provided NPDC employees with practical insights on financial literacy, budgeting, cash flow management, savings, and investing, while encouraging participants to reflect on their financial mindset and long-term financial goals.

Through this initiative, NPDC continues to support the Mental Health Program and Gender and Development (GAD) commitments of the agency by promoting financial wellness, economic empowerment, and inclusive learning opportunities for all employees.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Ms. Patricia Kimberly D. Chua, Well-Being Coach from Moment to Moment Stress Management Solutions, for sharing her expertise and guiding participants in building a more mindful and empowered approach to personal finance.

Empowered minds. Informed decisions. Financial wellness for all.
