Please be informed that the Bureau of Quarantine will be CLOSED on May 27, 2026 nationwide in the Philippines in observance of Eid’l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice), declared a Regular Holiday.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. officially declared the holiday through Proclamation No.1264, following the recommendation of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos.

In accordance with Proclamation no. 1006 declaring Friday, May 1, 2026 as Regular Holiday (Labor Day) all BOQ Immunization Services for BOQ Manila and NCR Satellite Offices will be unavailable.

In line with the directive of Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to implement urgent energy conservation measures across government agencies, the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) will adopt a Compressed Workweek schedule, effective March 16, 2026.

To optimize energy savings while maintaining uninterrupted public health services, our office will operate on an extended daily schedule.

During weeks with a public holiday, the schedule will revert to the standard operating hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
