In celebration of National Womenโs Month, the TESDA Manila Training and Assessment Center (TMTAC) recently partnered with the Philippine Coast Guardโs Non-Uniformed Personnel Affairs Office to conduct a specialized training program on Dishwashing Liquid and Fabric Conditioner Making, integrated with Basic Entrepreneurship. ๐งผ๐งด
Held at the PCG National Headquarters in Port Area, Manila, this initiative focused on more than just crafting; it was about fostering sustainable livelihood opportunities and practical business skills for the dedicated non-uniformed personnel of the Coast Guard. By equipping participants with both technical expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset, TMTAC and the PCG continue to champion women's empowerment and economic productivity.

๐๐๐๐: The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) conduct a Soap-Making Training Workshop through the initiative of Non-Uniformed Personnel Affairs Office (NUPAO) in celebration of National Womenโs Month at the National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila, on March 12, 2026.
During the activity, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Manila Training and Assessment Center led by Ms. Ma. Rizza Asis, together with Ms. Virgie Javillonar and Ms. Ariza Mae Hiteroza, guided the participants through the preparation of materials and the step-by-step process of producing dishwashing liquid and fabric conditioner.
In addition, TESDA and Assessment Center shared valuable insights on basic costing, potential business opportunities, and practical ideas for starting a small livelihood venture.
This initiative is part of the PCG Juanapreneur 2026 program that aims to equip personnel with practical livelihood skills, promote empowerment and self-sufficiency, and encourage productivity, in line with the celebration of womenโs strength, resilience, and contribution to nation-building.

Ms. Joan M. Azores, the Acting Chief of the PCG Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) Affairs, conducted a Troops Information and Education (TI&E) activity attended by all CGWCEISC NUP together with their respective Officers-in-Charge (OICs) at the CGWCEISC Conference Room.
The said TI&E aims to provide updates on relevant Civil Service Commission (CSC) policies, administrative guidelines, and other matters concerning NUP, ensuring that personnel remain informed of current policies and procedures that support efficient and effective public service.
Through initiatives such as this, the CGWCEISC continues to ensure that its NUP remain well-informed and aligned with government policies and standards, fostering professionalism, integrity and excellence in public service.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Deputy Commandant for Operations, VADM EDGAR L YBAรEZ PCG, led the oath-taking ceremony of two (2) newly promoted and two (2) newly appointed Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) via an online platform today, 22 January 2026.
The newly promoted Non-Uniformed Personnel are:
Ms. Eleanor Dela Rosa โ Administrative Officer III (Supply Officer II)
Mr. Aaron Dioneo โ Accountant II
The newly appointed Non-Uniformed Personnel are:
Ms. Aika Pabiona โ Accountant I
Ms. Nihayah Necnec Mascara โ Accountant I
The newly promoted and appointed NUPs will be assigned to various PCG units and districts, where they are expected to apply their expertise in support of the organizationโs mission and operational requirements.
In his message, VADM YBAรEZ PCG congratulated the newly promoted and appointed personnel and highlighted the critical roles of the three (3) Accountants and one (1) Supply Officer assigned to the districts. He emphasized their responsibility to uphold the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and excellence in the management of public funds and government resources, noting that the oath they took signifies a solemn commitment to faithful public service and to strengthening the Philippine Coast Guard.

๐๐๐๐: The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil L Gavan PCG presided over the oathtaking ceremony for the newly appointed and promoted PCG Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) at the National Headquarters Port Area, Manila, on November 13, 2025.
This is aligned with the vision of President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr. in recognizing the importance of NUP and emphasizing their crucial role in supporting the operational functions of uniformed agencies.

The Philippine Coast Guard is seeking qualified applicants for twelve (12) vacant Plantilla positions.
