The First Coast Guard District was activated on 29 April 1968. In 1984, it was limited to cover Manila, Laguna, Pasig and Zambales areas.

On 10 October 1979, the present site of its headquarters was inaugurated with jurisdiction covering the whole of Luzon area except Palawan and Oriental Mindoro. The following Coast Guard stations were activated under Coast Guard National Capital Region-Central Luzon (CGDNCR-CL) namely:

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: Fifteen (15) youth sailors toured BRP Francisco Dagohoy and participated in a sailing activity aboard SY ONO of the Philippine Coast Guard.

The activity provided them with valuable exposure to maritime operations and seamanship while promoting teamwork, discipline, and appreciation for maritime service on 31 May 2026.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: The Coast Guard District National Capital Region โ€“ Central Luzon participated in the Philippine Coast Guard-wide simultaneous Oath-Taking and Signing Ceremony of the Affidavit of Undertaking for the Non-Use of Dangerous Drugs held on 25 May 2026.

The activity served as a reaffirmation of the commitment of Coast Guard personnel to uphold a drug-free workplace and adhere to the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and discipline. Through the oath-taking and signing of the affidavit, personnel formally pledged to support and comply with the Philippine Coast Guardโ€™s policies and programs aimed at preventing the use of dangerous drugs.

This initiative highlights the organizationโ€™s continuing efforts to promote accountability, ethical conduct, and operational readiness, ensuring that all personnel remain capable of effectively carrying out their duties and responsibilities in service to the nation.

๐–๐€๐“๐‚๐‡: MMDA Special Operations Groupโ€“Strike Force Head, Mr. Gabriel Go, visit the Coast Guard District National Capital Regionโ€“Central Luzon and as part of the visit, Mr. Go donated eighteen (18) Gillie helmets for the PCG personnel, today, 22 May 2026.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: The Coast Guard District National Capital Region-Central Luzon (CGDNCR-CL) conducted the opening ceremony of the ๐–๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐’๐ž๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐œ๐ฎ๐ž (๐–๐€๐’๐€๐‘) ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž ๐œ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ”-๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, with the total of forty (40) participants, thirty-six (36) from CGDNCR-CL and four (4) from Philippine National Police, and formally convened at Parade Ground, Coast Guard Base Farola today, May 18 2026.

The event was graced by the presence of RADM CHRISTOPHER M MENIADO PCG, Acting Commander, CGDNCR-CL, he was joined by CDR CHRISTIAN F JAZMIN PCG, Commander, Special Operations Group (SOG) NCR-CL, and LCDR JULIE ANN D ALEJO PCG, Chief of Staff, CGDNCR-CL.

๐–๐€๐“๐‚๐‡: The Coast Guard Dental Station NCR-CL provides dental care services to CGDNCR-CL personnel and their families. The station continues to promote proper oral hygiene and deliver quality dental treatment to help maintain good oral health within the Coast Guard personnel and the community it serves.
