FREE SEMINAR. Secondary school teachers are invited to the Visayas Leg of “Pamandu: Surian ng Dunong Para sa Edukasyong Kultural,” a lecture-workshop on culture-based instructional materials, to be held at NMP Iloilo, Iloilo City on August 3-4, 2024, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. This is a project of Southern Philippine Technical College in Koronadal City, in coordination with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) National Committee on Cultural Education (NCCEd) and the National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) Iloilo. This activity aims to cultivate a heightened awareness, deeper understanding, and genuine appreciation of Filipino cultural heritage among teachers. It also targets to empower Filipino teachers to seamlessly integrate cultural elements across diverse learning areas within the curriculum. The approach fosters connection with the country’s heritage and equips teachers with the tools to create a more engaging and culturally resonant learning experience for the learners. HOW TO JOIN? 📢 Exciting news! The Durungawan Series is back for 2024, focusing on Pilipino Rites, Rituals, and Passages. This year, we're highlighting the conservation of Food Production and Allied Practices, including sustainable agriculture and tangible heritage reflecting Philippine flora and fauna.
Launching in RMMC General Santos City, with additional sites in Calbayog, Samar, and the Museo of Muntinlupa, Muntinlupa City.
In Calbayog, Samar, we're partnering with North West Samar State University for teacher training, and in Manila, the LGU of Muntinlupa City is generously hosting our project.
Stay tuned as we bring together committee members of the NCCEd and ensure quality presentations and curriculum integration across basic and secondary education levels.

Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), an international non-governmental organization dedicated to achieving world peace and ending wars, is gearing up to host its 9th Anniversary of the September 18th HWPL World Peace Summit in Seoul, South Korea from September 18th to 20th, 2023. This event is expected to draw esteemed representatives from approximately 150 nations worldwide, all of whom have received a warm invitation to partake in this significant gathering.
