| The Bureau of Customs – Port of Manila (BOC-POM), through its Administrative Division, initiated a Civil Service Examination (CSE) Review Program aimed at supporting personnel who are set to take the upcoming Civil Service Commission (CSC) Examination in August. The initiative forms part of the Port’s continuing efforts to strengthen employee development and readiness for career advancement.

The activity was attended by BOC personnel from various offices who have committed to furthering their professional qualifications through the CSE. Designed to enhance competencies in key subject areas, the review sessions provide a structured and supportive learning environment facilitated by selected in-house instructors from the Port.

District Collector Rizalino Jose C. Torralba expressed his full support for the initiative, encouraging all eligible BOC personnel to actively participate in the sessions as part of their preparation for the examination. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning and professional development in building a more competent workforce and extended his sincere appreciation to the volunteer instructors who generously shared their time, knowledge, and expertise.

The Civil Service Examination Review is conducted regularly every Tuesday and Thursday, ensuring consistent learning engagement and adequate preparation time for participants. This initiative aligns with the broader direction of the Bureau under the leadership of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno, who continues to promote capacity-building programs that empower personnel and uphold excellence in public service.
