Allocation and Utilization of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Fund (LDRRMF)

Today, October 14, 2025, Barangay 540, Zone 53 officials participated in a webinar on maximizing the use of BDRRM Funds, conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) through Facebook Live.

The session focused on the proper allocation and utilization of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund (LDRRMF) to ensure effective disaster preparedness and response at the barangay level.

Barangay 540 was represented by Barangay Chairperson Ernesto T. Tabuzo Jr., Barangay Secretary Ruby Vera, Kagawad Jenny Lascano, and Kagawad Nora Erispe, who are committed to strengthening the community’s disaster resilience and readiness efforts.

BREAKING NEWS: Face-to-face classes are suspended in all DepEd public schools in the National Capital Region on October 13–14, 2025, in light of the increasing incidence of influenza-like illnesses among learners and personnel, and the recent series of earthquakes in various parts of the country.

During this period, schools shall implement Alternative Delivery Modalities (ADM), either synchronous or asynchronous.

Private schools are highly encouraged to observe these measures, DepEd NCR added.

Announcement for SENIOR CITIZENS’ PAYOUT📢‼️

: Upon the recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MCDRRMO), I am ordering the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels, public and private schools on Friday and Saturday, 26–27 September 2025.

This is in preparation for the expected impact of Severe Tropical Storm Opong, which weather forecasters warn would bring heavy rainfall, possible flooding, and strong winds in Metro Manila and surrounding provinces.

All schools in the nation’s capital are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.
