To wrap up the academic year, the UP Association of Public Health Students (UP APHS) brought its annual Teach and Treat to Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong, last June 28, 2025, in partnership with the Daily Manna Foundation for their monthly anthropometric assessment. 💙

With the theme “Teach and Treat: Batang Masayahin sa Wastong Pagkain,” this year’s Teach & Treat focused on promoting proper nutrition and healthy eating habits among children through interactive and engaging activities. APHS volunteers also assisted in the collection of anthropometric data to aid future community health efforts.

A huge thank you to our dedicated volunteers and partners who helped make this initiative a success. Together, we continue to empower our communities—para sa wastong pagkain ng mga bata! 🍎

Last February 22, 2025, The UP Association of Public Health Students, in partnership with SIBOL-PH, held PHrom the Heart: Bahay Aruga Outreach Program as part of the celebration of the 118th CPH founding anniversary.

In a short but meaningful visit, APHS and SIBOL members not only promoted proper sanitation, they also spent time with the children of Bahay Aruga, sharing stories and creating lasting memories. The event served as a reminder of what lies in the heart of public health: genuine service and compassion for others. 💖

The UP Association of Public Health Students joined the CPH community in celebrating its 98th founding anniversary with the annual 5 Days of Happiness. On February 11, 2025, APHS spread joy with pastries, serving sweet treats and even sweeter moments. 🧁✨

Last October 22, 2024, the UP Association of Public Health students held “APHS to Survive: General Assembly.” 🏎️ It was the second General Assembly of the Association of Public Health Students (APHS) since its rebranding from UP Hygiene Society. 🌻

The event fostered connection and camaraderie among UP BS Public Health students. More than that, this event brought the UP APHS together to reflect on the past milestones and to move forward with shared goals and purpose. 👥🏘️

We hope to continue bringing the mantra "Public Health by the Filipinos, for the Filipinos" in all our future endeavors. 🇵🇭

On October 2, 2024, the Association of Public Health Students (APHS), together with the BSPH Class of 2025, BSPH Committee, and the CPH Student Council (CPHSC), held “Tracks to ImPHress: Step onto the Runway of Med Lab Sci & Pop Health” to introduce the BSPH Class of 2026 to the two major BSPH tracks: Medical Laboratory Science and Population Health. ✨

Through a comprehensive BSPH curriculum overview, student and alumni testimonials, and an open forum, this event aimed to equip incoming juniors with the knowledge and confidence to choose the track that best aligns with their interests, strengths, and future goals. 💭

Last September 25, 2024, the Association of Public Health Students (APHS) and Public Health Artist’s Circle (PHAC) kicked off the aPHter Classes: An Org PHair Special, organized by the UP Manila CPH Student Council and Alliance of Public Health Organizations, through an open mic event at the CPH Student Lounge. 🎤

From heartfelt songs to powerful spoken word, Don’t PHAC it APHS was a celebration of the creativity and talent of the CPH student body. ✨

APHS and PHAC would like to extend our deepest gratitude to those who participated and made the event truly sickening! 💖
