𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗢 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗦 𝗠𝗔𝗔𝗬𝗢𝗦 𝗔𝗧 𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗢 𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗞 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬 𝟴𝟭

Ang mabuting pamumuno ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa mga programang naipapatupad, kundi maging sa kahandaang makinig, makipag-usap, at harapin ang mga usaping nangangailangan ng pagkakaunawaan at pananagutan.

Kasunod ng mga usaping ipinaabot sa tanggapan, pinangunahan ng Youth Development and Welfare Bureau (YDWB), katuwang ang SK Federation Manila, ang isang mediation dialogue kasama ang mga opisyal ng Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay 81, Zone 7, District I, Manila.

Naging pagkakataon ang pagpupulong upang mapakinggan ang bawat panig, malinawan ang mga responsibilidad, at makabuo ng mga konkretong pagkakasundo tungo sa mas maayos, transparent, at responsableng pagpapatupad ng mga programa para sa kabataan.

Bilang pagpapatibay sa mga napagkasunduan, isinagawa rin ang pormal na paglagda sa kasunduan sa presensya ni Punong Barangay Jocelyn Matilla, kasama ang mga kinatawan ng YDWB at SK Federation Manila Coordinator bilang mga saksi.

Hindi lahat ng hindi pagkakaunawaan ay kailangang mauwi sa pagkakawatak-watak. Minsan, ang pinakamahalagang hakbang ay ang muling pag-upo sa iisang mesa, pakikinig, at paghahanap ng solusyon.

Para sa YDWB at SK Federation Manila, ang layunin ng ganitong dayalogo ay hindi ang magturo ng pagkakamali o magpahiya, kundi ang itaguyod ang pagkakaunawaan, pananagutan, at pagtutulungan.

Dahil sa huli, ang tunay na dapat manaig ay hindi ang anumang panig, kundi ang kapakanan ng kabataang ating pinaglilingkuran.

Stronger youth leaders begin with stronger youth development systems!

Today, I joined fellow youth development practitioners at the Training of Trainers (TOT) on the Sangguniang Kabataan and Local Youth Development Council Modules for LYDOs and LRIs, happening on October 8–10, 2026, at Green Sun Hotel, Makati City.

More than a training, this is an opportunity to exchange best practices, strengthen our capabilities, and bring home fresh perspectives that can translate into meaningful programs and better opportunities for our young people.

Glad to connect with Asec. Mikyong and fellow Local Youth Development Officers (LYDOs) from Valenzuela, Quezon City, and Pasig City, alongside other youth development advocates from Luzon. Different cities, one shared mission: empowering the next generation of Filipino leaders! 🤝

Maraming salamat sa National Youth Commission (NYC) for its continuous commitment to capacitating our LYDOs and strengthening our Local Youth Development Councils (LYDCs).

Dahil ang bawat bagong kaalaman ay dapat may katumbas na aksyon, at ang bawat pagsasanay ay dapat may balik na serbisyo para sa kabataan.

𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗜 𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗔𝗠 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗕𝗘𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗡 👑 𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

It was inspiring to witness the confidence, intelligence, and purpose of our young MaScians as the Youth Development and Welfare Bureau (YDWB) joined the event as part of the panel of judges.
More than the crown, nakita natin ang mga kabataang may sariling boses, paninindigan, at adbokasiyang nais ibahagi sa kanilang kapwa.

Nakakatuwang makita that the next generation is not only talented and brilliant, they are young people with purpose, ready to lead and make a difference. 💙✨

𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗔𝗡, 𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗨𝗕𝗢𝗚 𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗨𝗡𝗔𝗡. 🇵🇭

The Youth Development and Welfare Bureau (YDWB) joined the School Caravan at Colegio de San Juan de Letran as part of the panel discussion on “Kabataan Tungo sa Makatarungang Lipunan.”

Kasama ang mga Letranista, naging espasyo ang talakayan para sa open conversations, meaningful questions, at pagbabahagi ng pananaw ng kabataan sa mga usaping panlipunan.

Maraming salamat sa FPJ Youth for the invitation and for continuously creating spaces where young people can speak, listen, and take part in shaping a better society.

Sa YDWB, patuloy tayong susuporta sa mga programang nagbibigay-boses at puwang sa kabataang Manileño. 💙

𝗟𝗢𝗟𝗢’𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗟𝗔, 𝗞𝗔-𝗧𝗨𝗣𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝗔 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗬𝗢! 💙👵👴

May karanasang hindi nasusukat sa edad, at may kakayahang patuloy na may puwang sa paglilingkod.

Bilang bahagi ng paggunita sa 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, kinikilala natin ang ilan sa ating mga lolo at lola na kabilang sa 250 benepisyaryo ng TUPAD na hatid ni Senator Bam Aquino sa Lungsod ng Maynila.

Ilan sa kanila ang naitalaga sa iba’t ibang tanggapan ng lungsod, kabilang ang Youth Development and Welfare Bureau (YDWB), kung saan naging bahagi sila ng araw-araw na gawain at serbisyo ng tanggapan.

Ngayong Local Government Month, we salute the men and women of our local governments who work closest to the people, mula sa frontline services hanggang sa mga programang direktang tumutugon sa pangangailangan ng bawat komunidad.

For the Youth Development and Welfare Bureau, this month is also a reminder that good local governance means creating meaningful spaces for young people to participate, lead, and be heard in shaping the future of our city.

Saludo sa ating mga local government workers, officials, partners, volunteers, at community leaders. Ang mahusay na pamahalaang lokal ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa mga programang naipapatupad, kundi sa buhay na napapabuti at mamamayang napaglilingkuran.

𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘. 💚🧠

Better conversations. Better support. Better days for every young person.

The Better Days Youth Mental Health Caravan officially made its first stop at LPU Manila, bringing together young people, advocates, educators, and partners for an open and meaningful conversation on mental health, because no young person should have to navigate their struggles alone.

Made possible through the partnership of I AM M.A.D. (Making A Difference), Mental Health Youth Hub PH, SM Cares, the Youth Development and Welfare Bureau (YDWB), , Building Youth Empowerment, and the City Government of Manila, the first leg was held in partnership with the LPU Manila Central Student Government (LYCESGO).

The caravan was welcomed by Dr. Jennifer Tucpi, LPU Manila VPAA; Councilor Yanyan Ibay; and Mr. Royston Cabunag, SM Cares Program Director for Children and Youth.

The conversations began with Mr. Ben John Montaron for Your Mind, Your Better Days, followed by the panel session “How to Create Better Days: Think Better, Better Days” featuring Ms. Gladys Ramos, LPU Manila SAO Dean; Mx. Jed David Lim, Content Creator; and Mr. Mac Ericson Cinco, LPU alumnus and MYDC representative.

A highlight of the caravan was an inspiring keynote from Kuya Kim Atienza, together with Ms. Ymari Pascua’s “Why Better Days Matter” talk, a reminder that mental health conversations matter, asking for support matters, and creating spaces where young people feel seen and heard matters.

As we celebrate 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗗𝗔𝗬, may this first stop be the beginning of more campuses choosing empathy over judgment, conversations over silence, and community over isolation.
