Ang Bulwagan ng Pagsulong at Pag-asa ay bukas para sa mga mag-aaral mula Lunes hanggang Sabado, 9:00 AM hanggang 9:00 PM.

Inaanyayahan ang lahat ng mag-aaral na gamitin ang Bulwagan ng Pagsulong at Pag-asa bilang lugar para sa pag-aaral, group study, pananaliksik, o tahimik na pagbabasa.

Maari ninyong magamit ang mga serbisyong iniaalok ng Bulwagan ng Pagsulong at Pag-asa gaya ng:
• Libreng WiFi access
• Libreng DOST-STARBOOKS access
• Libreng paggamit ng computers para sa research at schoolwork

Paalala lamang na panatilihin ang kaayusan at sumunod sa mga patakaran ng Bulwagan ng Pagsulong at Pag-asa habang ginagamit ang mga pasilidad.

Para sa mga nais pang makiisa sa programa, maaari kayong magpadala ng mensahe sa aming page. Bukas ang programang ito para sa lahat ng interesadong kabataan na gustong magpatuloy sa kanilang pag-aaral at pag-unlad sa larangang pang-akademiko.

Official Statement on SK Fortune Financial Assistance Qualified Students

The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Fortune is committed to supporting our youth through transparent and impactful educational initiatives. Following the recent release of qualified students for the SK Fortune Financial Assistance, we would like to address several concerns raised by our constituents. We value these inputs, as they underscore the community’s desire for fairness, integrity, and long-term change.

1. Number of Slots and Fund Allocation
The current slots available for financial assistance are limited, as appropriated funds are designated to balance multiple educational programs, including our E-Library initiative that received major funding from SK Fortune’s 2024 ABYIP. This strategic allocation ensures that a broader set of resources, not just financial aid, is available to our youth. We hope that by sustaining different educational avenues, we can empower more students in various ways.

2. Process of Selection
In collaboration with the Fortune High School (FHS) administration, our selection process prioritizes indigent students and those in vulnerable situations. Recommendations from FHS were used to objectively assess eligibility based on socio-economic status of Junior High School and Senior High School Applicants. Our aim is to ensure that the students who need this assistance most are served first, in line with the SK’s commitment to inclusivity and support for disadvantaged youth.

3. Duration of Review
The review duration was influenced by the transmission timeline from FHS, where their recommendations were based on students’ socioeconomic status to ensure that the program will be availed by deserving students. For SHS and College students, transparency was maintained throughout, with timestamps from Google Forms indicating when applications were received and processed.

4. Zero Tolerance for Padrino System/Palakasan System
We stand firmly against any form of “padrino” system or favoritism in our selection process. This program is built to provide equal opportunity and fair consideration for all eligible applicants. We encourage our community to report any concerns about potential biases, as we are fully committed to addressing them openly and honestly.

As SK Fortune, we believe in creating sustainable, long-term solutions for education where the sector is totally vulnerable. As we recognize the need for temporary relief, the youth deserve systems that lift them up with integrity and long-term solutions. We appreciate everyone’s feedback and will continue working toward transparent and effective initiatives that empower the next generation.
