NUMBER 6 MOST WANTED NG EPD, HULI SA IKINASANG MANHUNT OPERATION NG SAN JUAN PNP SA KASONG QUALIFIED THEFT
Walang takas sa kamay ng batas ang isang babaeng akusado, matapos mahuli ng operatiba ng San Juan City Police Station sa isinagawang manhunt operation nito lamang ika-2 ng Setyembre, taong kasalukuyan dakong 3:25 ng hapon sa tapat ng isang sikat na mall sa Brgy. Wack-Wack, Greenhills, Mandaluyong City.
Sa masigasig na pamumuno ni PLTGEN JOSE C MELENCIO NARTATEZ JR., at alinsunod sa 5 Guiding Principles ni PMGEN ANTHONY A ABERIN, Regional Director, NCRPO, dala ang Warrant of Arrest na inilabas ng Presiding Judge ng RTC Branch 278 ng Mandaluyong City ay nasakote ng operatiba ng Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) ng San Juan CPS si a.k.a. “Malou”, 40 na taong gulang, isang payroll analyst at nakatira sa Brgy. Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. Ang akusado ay nahaharap ngayon sa 49 counts ng kasong Qualified Theft through Falsification of Commercial Documents in Relation to Section 6, R.A. No. 10175 (Cyber Crime Prevention Act of 2012). Ang piyansang ipinataw ng korte ay PhP 5,274,000.00 para sa 49 counts.
Pinuri ni PBGEN ADEN T LAGRADANTE ang matagumpay na pagkakahuli sa suspek. Aniya “Ang mga illegal na gawaing ito ay walang puwang sa ating lipunan, kung kaya ipinararating ko ang isang malaking pagpupugay sa mga kapulisan ng San Juan CPS. Lagi nating ipamalas ang hustisya at mahusay na aksiyon laban sa mga taong mapansamantala. Ipinapangako rin ng aming hanay na patuloy ang pagbibigay namin ng proteksiyon sa lahat ng mamamayan para sa mga ganitong uri ng krimen. Hindi kami titigil sa pagsasagawa ng mga hakbang upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa laban sa mga taong mapanlinlang, mapagsamantala at mapang-abuso sa kapwa.”

EPD’s Monthly Thanksgiving Mass
In line with its commitment to the morale, welfare enhancement, and spiritual upliftment of its personnel, the Eastern Police District, under the leadership of PBGEN ADEN T LAGRADANTE, District Director, held its Monthly Thanksgiving Mass on September 5, 2025, at around 8:00 AM at the EPD Headquarters Multi-Purpose Hall, Caruncho Avenue, Brgy. Malinao, Pasig City.
The Mass was solemnly officiated by Rev. Fr. PMAJ RHEY J DOLLESIN, CHS, PNP, Camp Crame, and was attended by PBGEN LAGRADANTE, together with D-Staffs, other key officers, PNCOs, and NUPs of the District.
As an expression of gratitude for the continuous guidance and protection received by the police force, the celebration served as a reminder of the importance of faith in the daily lives of law enforcers.
This meaningful activity underscores the Eastern Police District’s dedication to serving with unwavering faith and integrity, ensuring that its personnel remain spiritually nourished, morally upright, and ready to fulfill their sworn duties to the Filipino people a practice worth emulating.

A Fellowship with the District Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (DAGPTD) and the Eastern Police District (EPD) was conducted at 6:00 PM on September 4, 2025 at Sta. Isabel cor. Sta. Rosa St., Kapitolyo Barangay Hall Multi-Purpose Building, Brgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig City. The activity was facilitated by the District Plans and Strategic Management Division (DPSMD) under the leadership of PLTCOL ADOR M TAYAG, Officer-in-Charge, DPSMD.
This initiative was spearheaded by PBGEN ADEN T LAGRADANTE, District Director, EPD, together with the members of the EPD Command Group. It was attended by the District Staff and the District Advisory Group led by Mr. Joseph Aaron L. Miravalles, Chairperson of DAGPTD.
The fellowship primarily aimed to strengthen partnership, service, and collaboration between the EPD and its stakeholders in pursuit of genuine transformation. The highlight of the activity was the presentation of the Status of the EPD Performance Governance System (PGS) towards Institutionalization, followed by an open forum that allowed participants to share insights and recommendations in support of EPD’s continuing pursuit of organizational excellence and police service transformation.

EFFECTIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS LEAD TO THE ARREST OF TWO INDIVIDUALS, SEIZED MORE THAN 100K WORTH OF SHABU
Following the strategic direction of PLTGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR., Acting Chief of the Philippine National Police and the 5-Guiding Principles of PMGEN ANTHONY A ABERIN, RD, NCRPO, the Eastern Police District through the District Drug Enforcement Unit and the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of San Juan City intensified efforts to crackdown illegal drug activities, launched a back-to-back operations on September 3, 2025 that led to the arrest of two suspected drug personalities identified as a.k.a. “Emil”, 52-year-old male and a.k.a. “Boy”, 36-year-old male. These decisive operations highlight the EPD’s unwavering commitment to dismantling drug networks and ensuring safer communities.
Through an extensive surveillance and casing of the suspects’ identities and clandestine operations, operatives from the said drug enforcement units launched a well-coordinated operations and yielded a substantial haul of illegal drugs, including: five (5) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, with an estimated weight of 4.35 grams with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 29,580.00; and two (2) sachets weighing approximately 10.36 grams with an SDP of Php 70,448.00 of suspected shabu, with a total estimated SDP of Php 100,028.00. These operations mark a significant victory of the ongoing fight against illegal drug lactivities.
PBGEN ADEN T LAGRADANTE, DD, EPD, proudly hailed the remarkable success of the highly dedicated operatives from the operating units. “We commend the swift and coordinated efforts of our law enforcement officers which led to the successful arrest of two drug suspects and the recovery of a substantive value of illegal drugs. These operations were a clear demonstration of our unwavering commitment to protecting our communities and dismantling the networks that threatens public safety. Let this be our strong message: we will relentlessly pursue those who profit from the drug trade. The Eastern Police District, under the leadership of PBGEN ADEN T LAGRADANTE, District Director, together with PCOL MICHAEL N ASTRERA, Chief of Police of Marikina CPS, joined the City Government of Marikina in honoring the heroism of Marikina police personnel during the 38th Marikina Police Memorial Day held in the morning of September 7, 2025, at Loyola Memorial Park, Marikina City.
The commemoration was highlighted by the presence of HON. MARJORIE ANN “MAAN” TEODORO, Mayor of Marikina City, alongside PSSUPT ELY C PINTANG (Ret.), Co-Chairman of the Special Activities Committee, Civic Action Team Marikina; PSSUPT JOSE S OGBAC JR. (Ret.), President-Elect of the Marikina Police Retirees Association Inc.; Mr. Jahnwill R. 911 CALL TRIGGERS HIGH-IMPACT OPERATION; PASIG COPS
SEIZED SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF SHABU, 2 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
In a speedy law enforcement response by an emergency 911 call, the Eastern Police District (EPD), through Sub-Station 5 of Pasig City Police Station, arrested two drug personality suspects and confiscated Php183,600 worth of suspected shabu in a surprise operations at Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City. The suspects were identified as a.k.a. “Jay-R” and a.k.a. “Raymond”, both 20-year-old males and residents of Pasig City, were caught in the act of repacking illegal drugs when authorities arrived at the targeted location.
At about 9:18 AM on August 26, 2025, personnel from Pasig CPS Sub-Station 5 received a call from 911 through the Tactical Operations Center (TOC), reporting a group of individuals allegedly engaging in illegal drug activities at Bolante 1, Brgy. Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City. Acting within minutes, the responding officers coordinated quickly and proceeded to the area. Upon arrival, the team confirmed the report and found the suspects in the act of repacking a crystalline substance suspected to be shabu.
Seized from the suspects were six (6) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance with a total weight of approximately 27 grams with an estimated standard drug price of ₱183,600.00. The suspects were immediately placed under arrest following a strict procedure under article II, section 21 of RA 9165. Evidence was marked and inventory was done at the scene in the presence of Barangay Official and media representative. After the arrest, the suspects and confiscated items were brought to EPD Forensic Unit in Brgy. Mauway, Mandaluyong City for laboratory examination and confirmatory testing.
PBGEN LAGRADANTE, EPD District Director, lauded the quick response and meeting up of police operatives making a successful operations. “This is a powerful demonstration of what can we achieved when the public and the police work hand in hand. One urgent call to 911 and the quick action of our ground units, can prevent the supply of harmful drugs to the community.”
He continued by saying “Consider this as a warning to those who exploit others’ suffering and addiction for profit—we will come to you. Our officers are alert, the community is watching, and the full force of the law will be enforced without hesitation.”
The operations will not only removed dangerous substances from the streets but also reinforced the critical role of public vigilance and the efficiency of real-time emergency response systems. CHILD ABUSE SUSPECT ARRESTED BY MARIKINA PNP
Fueled by the Eastern Police District’s (EPD) unwavering dedication to proactive and responsive policing, Marikina cops promptly arrested a suspect in violation of RA 7610 (Physical abuse) on August 24, 2025, at about 11:20 PM along Bonanza St., Brgy. Fortune, Marikina City. This immediate and resolute action reflects EPD’s strong commitment to ensuring public safety.
Reports received by PBGEN ADEN T LAGRADANTE, District Director, EPD from PCOL GEOFFREY N FERNANDEZ, Chief of Police, Marikina City revealed that on the said date and place, the victim and the suspect were teasing each other when the suspect identified as a.k.a. “Rjay”, 21-years old, suddenly became enraged and struck the 15-year-old victim on the head. This prompted the victim to utter profanities on the suspect which further escalated the latter’s anger. The suspect then punched and kicked the victim, causing injuries suffered by the minor. The victim’s cousin, told the ordeal to their uncle, who sought the assistance of police officers from Marikina City Police Station. The officers together with barangay police, immediately arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect.
The case was then referred to the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD). The suspect was temporarily detained at Marikina City Police Station Custodial Facility while pertinent documents are being prepared before filing the case through inquest proceedings.
