The Mati School of Arts and Trades (MSAT) has issued a comprehensive waste management guide to maintain a sanitary campus environment. This initiative outlines a strict weekly schedule, designating Tuesdays for external garbage collection while reserving Friday and Monday afternoons for internal sorting. To ensure efficiency, the school has established specific drop-off points at Material Recovery Facilities located near the main gates and guard house. Students and staff are instructed to keep refuse away from stray animals and to utilize compost pits exclusively for organic materials. By following these segregation protocols, the campus community aims to promote long-term environmental sustainability and collective responsibility. Through these organized efforts, the institution seeks to become a leading example of cleanliness and ecological health.

On February 23, 2026, the Mati School of Arts and Trades successfully conducted a Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session focused on “Ensuring Accurate and Timely Completion of End-of-School-Year School Forms.” The session gathered dedicated Junior High School and Senior High School Class Advisers, along with LIS and School Forms Coordinators, in a collaborative effort to strengthen our school forms management practices.

The session emphasized the importance of accurate and reliable learner records, smooth promotion and graduation processes, and strict compliance with DepEd reporting requirements. Participants actively reviewed DepEd policies and guidelines, identified common errors in accomplishing school forms, and clarified processes to ensure correctness and efficiency in preparing EOSY reports.

More than just a compliance activity, the LAC session became a meaningful venue for collaboration, shared learning, and reaffirmation of our commitment to quality service for our learners. The active participation, insightful discussions, and shared best practices truly reflected our collective dedication to excellence.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our School Principal, Mr. Jorisam B. Rojas, and to Mrs. Hazel A. Silvosa, Designated Assistant to the Office of the Principal, for their guidance and unwavering support. We also sincerely thank all JHS Grade Level Chairpersons, SHS Class Advisers, and everyone who contributed to the success of this activity. Your cooperation, professionalism, and strong commitment made this LAC session truly productive, meaningful, and impactful.

Together, we continue to uphold accuracy, accountability, and excellence in service to our learners and the entire MSAT community.
