Another Social Infrastructure Building (SIB) Training was conducted by the Department of Agrarian Reform, through its Program Beneficiaries Development Division (PBDD) to Bonga Habal-habal and Farmers Association. The activity was facilitated by Mrs. Irene Lazarra highlighting the importance of good governance, Gender and Development (GAD) mainstreaming, and adherence to Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) guidelines to strengthen the institutional capacity and accountability of the association.

The successful implementation of the activity was strongly supported by the DAR Municipal Office Staff.

The Department of Agrarian Reform, through its Program Beneficiaries Development Division (PBDD), successfully conducted a Social Infrastructure Building (SIB) Training to Pamamas-an Integrated Farmers Association facilitated by Ms. Jocelle Cabangunay. The activity emphasized good governance, Gender and Development (GAD) mainstreaming, and adherence to Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) guidelines to strengthen the institutional capacity and accountability of the association.

Furthermore, Ms. Cherry Ann Dasig provided technical assistance to the association in formulating policies for the proper use, management, and maintenance of the multi-cultivator machinery, ensuring transparency, equitable access among members, and the sustainability of the provided farm equipment.

The activity was assisted by DAR Municipal Office Staff, ensuring smooth implementation of the training. #

DARMO Motiong continues to conduct redocumentation of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Brgy. San Ignacio and Brgy. Calayaan, Calbiga, Samar.

The activity forms part of the parcelization and land titling process, aimed at strengthening land tenure security, facilitating proper land distribution, and enabling ARBs to fully benefit from agrarian reform programs and services. #

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), through the Program Beneficiaries Development Division (PBDD), officially turned over one (1) unit of multicultivator to the Pamamas-an Integrated Farmers Association of Barangay Pamamas-an, Motiong, Samar, under the Sustainable and Resilient Agrarian Reform Community (SuRe ARC) Program.

The turnover ceremony marked another milestone in DAR’s continuing efforts to strengthen agrarian reform communities by enhancing farm mechanization, improving productivity, and reducing the physical burden on farmers. The multicultivator is expected to significantly aid beneficiaries in land preparation activities, allowing more efficient and timely cultivation of agricultural lands.

Meanwhile, the Department of Agriculture (DA), through DA Regional Field Office VIII, in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Motiong, also extended support by distributing farm inputs and farm tools to the farmers under the Gulayan sa Bayan Program. The initiative aims to promote food security, encourage backyard and community gardening, and supplement farmers’ income through vegetable production.

Officials from DAR, DA, and the LGU of Motiong emphasized the importance of inter-agency collaboration in delivering comprehensive support services to agrarian reform beneficiaries.

The said activity was successfully assisted by the personnel of the DAR Municipal Office of Motiong (DARMO Motiong), ensuring the smooth coordination and effective implementation of the turnover and distribution activities. #

Two (2) ARBOs recieved a farm machinery and livelihood equipment. The Multicultivator help to the Arbo for their Vegetable Production. The Charcoal Briquettes Machine for the production of natural Charcoal into an great product.

Both ArBos also recieved an organic fertilizer for their rice and vegetables farming.

A CLOA Distribution was held in Paranas, Samar for agrarian reform beneficiaries from the municipalities of Paranas and Motiong.

The activity was graced by PARPO I Josefina D. Amande, together with MARPO Benito N. Ignacio Jr. of DARMO-Motiong and MARPO Candida Labro of DARMO-Paranas, who led the awarding of land titles to the new landowners.
