Verdant Homes Elementary School, under the leadership of School Head Dr. Delia B. Poblete, welcomed Dr. Gina B. Dulce, Public Schools District Supervisor, for the conduct of ARAL Reading Monitoring to assess the implementation of the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program. During the monitoring, Dr. Dulce interviewed ARAL tutors and tutees to gain insights into the reading activities being implemented, the progress of learners, and the various interventions provided to address their reading difficulties. The Grade 2 ARAL tutors, Rhodora P. Poblete and Michelle C. Barinque, were interviewed alongside their respective two tutees, while the Grade 3 ARAL tutors, Zharmine E. Funtanares, Ma. Roselle C. Balanza, and Dyna Rose E. Talon, also participated in the monitoring, with one tutee from each tutor’s group interviewed. Dr. Dulce likewise conducted brief interviews with class advisers to learn about the additional reading interventions they implement to support their ARAL learners.
