05 October 2026 | Personnel of the New Corella Fire Station, spearheaded by 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍 𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐍, Municipal Fire Marshal, through the guidance of Provincial Fire Marshal 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐍 𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, and under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 RIZALDE M CASTRO, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, conducted a comprehensive Rank Inspection and a formal Turnover of Duties and Responsibilities. The Rank Inspection underscored the importance of uniformity, proper grooming, and professional bearing, key indicators of discipline, integrity, and operational readiness.

Together, these activities reflect the station’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and public service.

The BFP Officers and personnel from the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal (OPFM) Davao del Norte, led by 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐍. 𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐍, Provincial Fire Marshal of Davao del Norte, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐋𝐃𝐄 𝐌. 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎, Regional Director, conducted an ORSITE Inspection and Skills Assessment at the New Corella Fire Station under the supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍 𝐃. 𝐏𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐍, Municipal Fire Marshal. The activity focused on evaluating the personnel’s operational readiness, knowledge, skills, and capabilities, particularly in firefighting and emergency response operations.

The activity aimed to assess the preparedness, knowledge, skills, and overall capabilities of fire personnel in performing their duties, particularly in firefighting and emergency response operations.

It also emphasized the value of continuous training and skills development, helping ensure our firefighters remain confident, competent, and ready to respond effectively whenever emergencies arise.

The New Corella Fire Station expresses its sincere appreciation to the OPFM Davao del Norte personnel for their valuable guidance, support, and continued commitment to enhancing our firefighters' skills and capabilities.

𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐄𝐒’ 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐕𝐄, 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐄𝐒

𝑁𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝐻𝑒𝑟𝑜𝑒𝑠 𝐷𝑎𝑦, 𝑜𝑟 𝐴𝑟𝑎𝑤 𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑔𝑎 𝐵𝑎𝑦𝑎𝑛𝑖, is commemorated every last Monday of August pursuant to Republic Act No. 9492. This significant occasion honors both our recognized and unsung Filipino heroes whose courage, sacrifices, and dedication have contributed to the freedom, sovereignty, and continued progress of our nation.

On August 31, 2026, the personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection – New Corella Fire Station, headed by 𝗙𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗡, Municipal Fire Marshal, participated in a solemn Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Heroes Park of New Corella Central Elementary School, upon the invitation of the New Corella Municipal Police Station, led by 𝗣𝗠𝗔𝗝 𝗗𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗗 𝗦 𝗬𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗢 𝗝𝗥., Acting Chief of Police.

The ceremony served as a heartfelt tribute to the Filipino heroes who exemplified patriotism, bravery, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to the nation. Their sacrifices and noble deeds remain a source of inspiration for the present generation of public servants, reminding us to uphold integrity, honor, courage, and commitment in serving the Filipino people.

May we continue to honor their legacy by carrying forward the values they embodied and by dedicating ourselves to the service of our country and our fellow Filipinos.
