Please direct your requests and queries on EPT application, schedule, and other details and/or status of your teacher application to the Schools Division Office (SDO) where you intend to apply.

This is to clarify that the Advisory made in relation to EPT administration bearing the email address [email protected] is intended for SDO HR units and personnel who should be the ones requesting the EPT schedule for all their applicants from the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA).

We regret to inform you that any EPT requests, queries, and email communications from teacher-applicants that are not coursed through the concerned SDO and sent directly to [email protected] will not be responded to and entertained.

Re: Conduct of the National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH)

With reference to DO No. 24, s. 2020, the National Adoption and Implementation of the Philippine Professional Standards for School Heads (PPSSH), the BHROD has commenced its preparatory work to align the competency assessment and examination with the standards set by the PPSSH.

As DepEd moves towards competency-based HR, the NQESH will remain its primary mechanism to safeguard and gauge the competency and quality of the aspiring school leaders in DepEd schools.

In view thereof, please be informed that the NQESH shall resume this year (FY 2021). The schedule and other details related to it shall be announced in the second quarter of 2020.

Re: Refund of June 2020 GSIS Loan Amortizations

On June 11, 2020, GSIS Executive Vice President, Atty. Nora M. Malubay, made an announcement thru, radio, television and social media that the GSIS loan moratorium will be extended until June 2020, which resulted to lots of queries from DepEd field units as to its implementation.

For the information of all concerned, unlike the March 2020 GSIS moratorium on loans wherein the GSIS is responsible for the refund of loan amortizations already remitted to the GSIS, this Department is now in-charge of its June 2020 disbursements. Please see below.

The status quo on work arrangements for officials and nonteaching personnel in all DepEd offices, units, and schools is extended anew and teachers in DepEd schools nationwide shall work from home until the issuance of the new guidelines.
