CAAP Pagadian, led by its Acting Airport Manager Atty. Ralph Kevin B. Canton, held its first management meeting last 18 October 2024, Friday.

Joined by Pagadian airport section heads, the meeting discussed several matters involving administrative and financial activities and concerns such as personnel duties and responsibilities, employee claims, among others.

In order to provide government employees full opportunity to properly observe traditional AIl Saints' Day and All Souls' Day activities, allow them to travel to and from different regions in the country, and promote domestic tourism, work in government offices and classes at all levels shall be suspended on 31 October 2024 starting 12:00 p.m.

However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.

Restoration of Normal Baggage Handling at NAIA Terminal 3
October 23, 2024; 7:00PM

Cebu Pacific is pleased to announce that normal baggage handling operations at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 have been restored. We want to assure all passengers that checked baggage for new travel is now being processed as usual.

For those impacted by delays in recent days, we are happy to report that 90% of the previously left-behind bags have been recovered. Our teams remain focused on swiftly delivering any remaining delayed luggage to affected passengers.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC) for their crucial collaboration in resolving the issue. Their dedicated efforts played a key role in restoring operations.

Looking ahead, Cebu Pacific is optimistic about NNIC’s ongoing commitment to enhancing airport infrastructure and making further improvements. We believe these initiatives will significantly enhance the travel experience, ensuring smoother and more comfortable journeys for all passengers.
