Today, May 18, 2026, WWF-Philippines and the Philippine Red Cross hosted an introductory session on GSLA (Green Savings and Livelihood Approach) and foodshed concepts at Hydrosteel Function Hall, Brgy. Mohon , Tanauan, Leyte. Participants included representatives from Barangay San Joaquin and Barangay Cogon, Red Cross 143 volunteers, and various Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

Concurrently, a GIS-based assessment and site validation were conducted alongside stakeholder coordination. This initiative aims to support community planning, resource mapping, and the identification of potential development and environmental interventions.
