Bringing National ID services closer to every Filipino!
The PSA NCR PSO V successfully conducted National ID registration activities in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City, including home registration for bedridden residents and mobile registration services in remote communities.
These initiatives reflect the PSA’s continued commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and ensuring that no one is left behind in the National ID registration process.
With the support of local officials, barangay leaders, and community volunteers, the PSA remains dedicated to making government services more accessible to all sectors of society.

TINGNAN | PSA Naghatid ng mas mabilis at mas madaling National ID at Civil Registration Services sa “One Time, Big-Time Serbisyo Caravan” sa Binalbagan, Negros Occidental
Personal na nagtungo sa Binalbagan, Negros Occidental ngayong araw si Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Maps, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, kasama si OIC Regional Director John Campomanes upang siguruhing maayos ang pagbibigay-serbisyo ng PSA sa mga Negrense.
Sa pamamagitan ng mobile services ng PSA, mas inilapit sa mga komunidad ang mahahalagang serbisyo ng ahensya tulad ng National ID registration, pagkuha ng civil registry documents, at assistance sa pag-access ng Digital National ID, lalo na para sa mga Pilipinong nasa malalayong lugar o kabilang sa vulnerable sectors.
Patuloy ang PSA sa paghahatid ng serbisyong tapat, maaasahan, at abot ng bawat Pilipino.

📍 HAPPENING NOW | The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) holds the 2026 International Merchandise Trade Statistics (IMTS) Data Dissemination, bringing together key government officials, stakeholders, and data partners to discuss the latest developments in the country’s trade statistics.
Present at the event are key officials from the PSA, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev), and the Department of Finance (DOF), including PSA Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General; DTI Undersecretary Allan B. Gepty of the International Trade Group; Assistant Secretary Divina Gracia L. The Philippines posted a total export value of USD 22.70 billion and import value of USD 35.50 billion for the period of January to March 2026.
Exports grew by 12.7%, while imports increased by 8.9% year-on-year. Meanwhile, the country’s balance of trade in goods stood at USD -12.81 billion.

LOOK | PSA Conducts Pretest 2 for the July 2026 LFS and 2026 APIS Using CAPI System
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), through its Social Sector Statistics Service and Information Technology and Dissemination Service, successfully conducted Pretest 2 from 11 to 15 May 2026, for the July 2026 Labor Force Survey (LFS) and the 2026 Annual Poverty Indicators Survey (APIS) using the Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) System.
Conducted in coordination with the PSA-Cavite Provincial Statistical Office, the pretest activities were held in Barangays B**a 1 and Balite 2nd, Silang, Cavite, to assess the functionality and effectiveness of the CAPI system in preparation for the nationwide data collection from 08 to 31 July 2026.
The LFS gathers data on key employment indicators, including employment in the informal sector, while APIS collects non-income indicators to monitor poverty situation in the country.
Results from these surveys serve as vital inputs in the formulation, monitoring, and evaluation of government policies and programs on employment generation, poverty reduction, and social development.

LOOK | In line with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)’s Privacy Awareness Week 2026 celebration, Dr. Angelo P. Asignacion, Division Chief of the Information and Cybersecurity Division, emphasized the importance of ensuring information security in the National ID system through the “Digital National ID and the Data Protection Knowledge Exchange Series.”
His discussion highlighted the National ID system’s commitment to safeguarding citizens’ personal information through robust data protection measures, advanced encryption technologies, and secure systems that is aligned with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
With the theme, “ANAMNESIS: Looking Back and Moving Forward,” the PSA continues to champion data privacy rights and responsible digital governance while ensuring that its services, such as the National ID, is within reach of every Filipino.
