OTTSS ADVISORY

The Online Travel Tax Services System (OTTSS) will undergo a Maintenance Activity.

Relative to the scheduled maintenance activity of TIEZA’s email server, please be advised that all official TIEZA emails, including the OTTSS (Full Travel Tax Payment, Reduced Travel Tax, and Travel Tax Exemption Certificate online applications) will be temporarily unavailable from 7:00PM (December 5, 2024) to 7:00 PM (December 6, 2024).

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Rest assured that we will try to complete the migration process on schedule or earlier to expedite the process and resume normal operations.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.

18/11/2024

IMPORTANT REMINDER: To avoid double payment please make sure to double-check if the travel tax is already included in your ticket purchase.

Thank you and safe travels.

Whether the travel tax is included in your flight ticket depends on the airline and booking platform. Some airlines or booking sites include the Philippine travel tax directly in the ticket price, while others don't.

Here's how you can check:

- Review Your Booking Receipt or E-Ticket: Look for a line item labeled as “Philippine Travel Tax”, "Travel Tax" or "PH-Tax Manual" or similar in the breakdown of charges.

- Check with Your Airline or Booking Platform: Most airlines or online travel agencies have customer support that can confirm if the travel tax was included.

Still unsure? Contacting the airline or booking agency directly would be the best way to confirm.
