The Punong Barangay also addressed a current hot topic online and shared his views on the 4Ps and how it should be understood. He stated that he personally believes the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program is a legitimate means of reducing poverty. It is part of a global model known as Conditional Cash Transfers, which, in theory, follows a structured framework and invests in human capital.

However, the problem lies in its execution—particularly when it is abused by politicians. Issues arise from an inefficient beneficiary listing system, cases where individuals are required to secure a politician’s signature through so-called “promissory notes,” and unclear budget allocations. For example, around ₱20 billion is allocated for small business loans, while ₱600 billion is earmarked for aid. This suggests a clear imbalance in priorities.

Isang 38 yrs old na security guard ang nasawi matapos mahulog mula sa mataas na puno ng mangga, tinatayang kasintaas ng 3-palapag na gusali.

Ayon sa ulat, umakyat siya upang mamitas ng bunga, marahil para maiuwi sa kanyang pamilya, ngunit nauwi ito sa trahedya nang mahulog siya nang una ang ulo.

Siya ay nagtamo ng matinding pinsala sa ulo na agad niyang ikinamatay.

Paalala sa lahat: huwag maliitin ang panganib ng pag-akyat sa matataas na puno. Pahalagahan ang buhay, mag-ingat palagi.

📣 PAUNAWA SA MGA RESIDENTE NG KAPITOLYO

Ipinababatid po namin na ang boom truck ng Kapitolyo ay maayos na at hindi na out of service. Ito ay handa na muling magbigay-serbisyo para sa mga residenteng nangangailangan ng tree trimming at iba pang kaukulang serbisyo.

Para sa mga nais magpa-schedule, gumawa lamang ng letter of request at makipag-ugnayan sa secretary office.

Para sa mga magpapafollow up, pakisendan lamang po kami ng picture ng request letter para muling maipila sa schedule.

PAALALA:
-ang tree trimming / tree cutting request ay kailangan ng request letter dahil ihinihingi ito ng permit sa Pasig CENRO
-ang mga maaaring tugunan lamang na tree trimming request ay mga puno na nasa labas ng bahay at sidewalk. Ito ay libre at walang kailangan bayaran.

Monday flag ceremony points of discussion:

1. A Free Legal Aid Assistance Program was recently held in partnership with ACCRA Law, benefiting 10 residents. Concerns included birth certificates, libel cases, unpaid debts, and illegal marriage matters.

2. The public is reminded to stay vigilant against fake news and online scams. Mayor Vico recently shared that his likeness has been used in AI-edited scam videos targeting senior citizens. Think before you click and share.

3. The Punong Barangay also discussed the recent cash relief distribution to the transport sector by the DSWD. Long lines and inefficient processing highlight the need for capable leaders who prioritize public welfare.

4. The Barangay Security Force was reminded to be prepared to investigate and assess incidents as first responders.

5. The Punong Barangay also welcomed the return of former staff members Jake Marco Datuon, assigned to the Fire Brigade Team, and Venus Morales, now serving as Administrative Clerk.
