Ngayong ika-84 na paggunita ng , kaisa ang Boy Scouts of the Philippines sa muling pag-alaala sa mga bayani ng Bataan—hindi lang sa kanilang ginawa, kundi sa iniwan nilang pamantayan ng katapangan at pagmamahal sa bayan.

‎Ang diwa ng pagiging isang Scout ay hindi malayo sa diwa ng kagitingan—handa sa tungkulin, matatag sa hamon, at laging tapat sa bayan.

Batang Scouts ng Pateros during the Sunrise and Wreath Laying Ceremony of the 2026 Philippine Veterans' Week and 84th Araw ng Kagitingan

In the evening of April 4, 2026, on the solemn occasion of Holy Saturday, Batang Scouts ng Pateros attended the Easter Vigil Mass - A service that begins in darkness is illuminated, in Christian tradition, with the Light of Christ—the Paschal candle.

After prayers, chants and biblical readings, “Gloria” is sung for the first time since Maundy Thursday. The church is flooded with light, statues covered during Passiontide are unveiled and the joy of the Resurrection begins. The Paschal candle, the largest and most exquisite candle in the church, is lit each day throughout the Paschal season.

Rejoice, He has risen!

May we be blessed this Season of Lent.

The cross stands. The nails are still there in memory. The crown of thorns reminds us of the cost. It was pain. It was love. All of it given for us.

It challenges us to live intentionally, letting every choice be guided by care, courage, and love.

“It is finished.” But the story doesn’t end. It moves through us.
