LGU PLARIDEL ACHIEVES 100% LCPC RATING

The Local Government Unit of Plaridel proudly announces that it has garnered a 100% rating in the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) Assessment for Calendar Year 2025.

This distinction reflects the LGU’s full compliance and excellence in the functionality of its LCPC — from budget allocation, program implementation, to liquidation and submission of accomplishment reports.

We extend our commendation to the Municipal Budget Office, Municipal Planning and Development Office , Municipal Health Office, Municipal Accounting Office, Municipal Treasury Office, Sangguniang Bayan, MDRRMO, One-DEPed Plaridel, and the Office of the Municipal Mayor, with guidance from the DILG.

This achievement underscores our commitment to uphold and advance the rights and welfare of every child in Plaridel.

The LGU Plaridel, under the leadership of Mayor Gadwin E. Handumon, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) led by MSWD Officer Liezl A. Racho, successfully conducted the 2-Day Refresher Course on the National Early Learning Curriculum (NELC) and Reskilling/Upskilling of Child Development Workers (CDWs) on May 25-26, 2026 at the NCDC Plaridel.

This activity strengthens the skills, knowledge, and commitment of our CDWs in delivering quality ECCD services. Through the NELC, learning becomes more age-appropriate, meaningful, and responsive to the holistic growth and development of every child.
Because when we empower our educators, we build stronger foundations for our children’s future. ❤️👧👦

2ND QUARTER 2026 PAYOUT FOR SOCIAL PENSION BENEFICIARIES

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in cooperation with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Local Government Unit of Plaridel, successfully facilitated the social pension payout for indigent senior citizens for the second quarter of 2026.

The payout activity was conducted over two days, from May 20 to May 21, 2026, ensuring the smooth and orderly distribution of financial assistance to all qualified senior citizens beneficiaries.
