The Training on Infant-Toddler Early Development (ITED) Program for Child Development Workers was successfully conducted on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟮–𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗩𝗗 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝘂𝗽𝗮, 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼, 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿.

The three-day training was conducted by the Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC), in coordination with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of Agusan del Sur, as part of the full implementation of the Infant-Toddler Early Development (ITED) Program. 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 (𝟰) 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗖𝗗𝗪𝘀) 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗗𝗪𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿.

The training aimed to 𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀. It also served as an avenue for strengthening the capacity of Child Development Workers to effectively carry out the ITED Program and contribute to the healthy growth and development of young children during their most critical years.

Through continued collaboration and capacity-building, we strengthen our commitment to ensuring that every infant and toddler receives the care, nurturing, and opportunities they need to thrive.

𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 | Ceremonial Signing of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) System Act (RA 12199)

A milestone for Early Childhood Care and Development in the Philippines! The Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 12199, or the ECCD System Act, were officially signed today, marking a significant step toward strengthening the country's ECCD System and ensuring that every Filipino child receives the best possible start in life.

The ceremonial signing was led by the ECCD Council Co-Chairpersons, Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary Juanito Victor C. Remulla and Department of Education Secretary Juan Edgardo M. Angara, together with ECCD Council Vice Chairperson and Executive Director Dr. Teresita G. Inciong. Also present at the ceremony were Representative Roman T. Romulo, one of the principal authors of the law; EDCOM II Executive Director Karol Mark Yee; members of the ECCD Council Governing Board; and representatives from partner agencies.

As the nation embarks on this new chapter in Early Childhood Care and Development, the ECCD Council remains steadfast in working with its partners to ensure the effective implementation of Republic Act No. 12199, building a stronger, more responsive ECCD System for every Filipino child.

The City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) of Bayugan City, through its Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Program, had the honor of welcoming 𝐌𝐫. 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐉𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐳𝐚, 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐈𝐈 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐂𝐂𝐃 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥, accompanied by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐄𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐳, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐂𝐂𝐃 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧, during their visit to the 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 in Barangay Magkiangkang.

The New Lanao Child Development Center is among Bayugan City's outstanding Child Development Centers, having been awarded 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈𝐈𝐈 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟑𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. This milestone reflects the dedication, competence, and unwavering commitment of 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫, in delivering quality Early Childhood Care and Development services. 💡

During the visit, Mr. Sabalza commended the center for its well-maintained, child-friendly environment and the quality of its facilities, recognizing it as a model Child Development Center. A productive discussion on various ECCD matters was likewise conducted, fostering collaboration and reinforcing the shared commitment to continuously improve ECCD services in the province. He had also 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐤𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐆.
