From April 28 to 30, 2026, the Provincial Veterinary Office conducted a mass anti-rabies vaccination campaign in the barangays of Sta. Cruz, Wasi-an and Poblacion,Rosario, Agusan del Sur.
The activity aimed to protect both animals and the community from rabies through the vaccination of dogs and other susceptible animals. Pet owners actively participated by bringing their animals for free vaccination, demonstrating strong community support for the program.
This initiative is part of the officeโs continued efforts to promote responsible pet ownership, ensure public safety, and work toward the prevention and control of rabies in the province.

The Provincial Veterinary Office conducted monitoring activities under the CatDP, along with animal health services, including hemosep vaccination, at the Taogdan Imelda Farmers Association (TIFA) in Brgy. Imelda, Bunawan on April 21, 2026.
The activity aimed to assess the current status of livestock production among association members while ensuring the health and protection of animals through timely vaccination.
In addition to vaccination, technical assistance and guidance on proper animal health management, biosecurity measures, and disease prevention were shared with the farmers.
