As this academic year comes to an end, we take this opportunity to look back on the memories, experiences, and moments shared by every HUMSS section throughout the year. What once started as ordinary school days slowly became a journey filled with learning, laughter, challenges, and growth.

Beyond academics, our classrooms became spaces where friendships were built, ideas were shared, and unforgettable memories were created. From simple everyday interactions to the milestones we proudly celebrate today, every moment became part of a story that shaped us into better students and individuals.

As we close another chapter of our HUMSS journey, may we continue to carry the lessons, values, and memories we gained this academic year wherever life takes us next. ✊🏻

The 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 (𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗦𝗦) strand honors the exceptional dedication and intellectual rigor of its 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 and its 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿.

Standing at the very summit of the graduating class, the 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻, 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐉𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐥 𝐅. 𝐍𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐳𝐚 and the 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻, 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐲𝐜𝐞 𝐃. 𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐠𝐨𝐬, have reached the highest level of distinction, both graduating 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀. Their achievement embodies the true spirit of a HUMSS scholar and sets a premier example for the entire batch.

This excellence is further mirrored by the remaining students within the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 5 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗦𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱, who are also included in the Top 10 of the Graduating Class, each of whom has attained the distinction of graduating 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀.

The 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 was also earned by a student from the Humanities and Social Sciences who has shown compassionate leadership in her service to the student body, 𝐙𝐡𝐲𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐙𝐨𝐞 𝐙. 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐳.

The distinguished Grade 11 and Grade 12 Achievers continue this legacy, earning their places 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 and 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀. Each of these honorable individuals has mastered complex research and insightful discourse, solidifying their own reputation as a powerhouse of talent.

As these milestones are recognized, every Grade 11 Achiever emerges as a rising star of the department, while each Grade 12 Achiever leaves behind a remarkable personal standard of excellence.

This December 2025, the HUMSS Club, together with Novaliches High School SHS Extension, conducted a meaningful Values Month celebration for Grade 11 and 12 students. The series of activities aimed to highlight the importance of Filipino values through student participation and creativity, beginning with the 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗻-𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 on December 4, where learners expressed ideas of compassion, respect, unity, and resilience through their own artistic interpretations.

The celebration continued with the 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, officially opened on December 3, where students captured real-life moments that reflect positive values in everyday life. Through photography and storytelling, participants showcased their unique perspectives, emphasizing the importance of empathy, honesty, and responsibility within the community.

The month-long celebration concluded with a vibrant culminating program on December 10, where students gathered to honor the winners and celebrate their achievements. The event was filled with energy, unity, and school spirit, as different sections cheered and supported one another, truly embodying the spirit of bayanihan.

From creativity to collaboration, this year’s Values Month served as a reminder that values are not only learned but lived. The HUMSS Club extends its heartfelt appreciation to all students, teachers, and organizers who made this celebration a meaningful success. Together, we continue to build a value-driven and compassionate school community.

The HUMSS Club, in coordination with Novaliches High School SHS Extension, officially opened the English Literature Month this November 2025 with a vibrant showcase of talent and intellect.

The celebration kicked off with the highly anticipated "𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗸" 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, where Grade 11 and 12 students transformed their classrooms into cozy reading retreats, fostering a permanent love for literature and teamwork.

The festivities continued with the "𝗔 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹" storytelling contest and the 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗲𝗲, where students from all strands demonstrated their mastery of language and creative perspective. From re-imagining Carlos Bulosan’s classics to tackling complex grammar and vocabulary, our learners proved that academic excellence and artistic expression go hand in hand.

The month reached its grand finale with a thrilling 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 and an 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, followed by a heartwarming culmination ceremony on December 5. This event served as a testament to the students' dedication, celebrating the spirit of camaraderie and the lasting impact of creative exploration within our school community.

From the bottom of our hearts, the HUMSS Club salutes every student, educator, and visionary leader whose passion turned this English Literature Month into a resounding success. 🤓☝️

The HUMSS Club successfully celebrated the United Nations Month by organizing a series of meaningful and engaging activities that highlighted global awareness, unity, and student participation. The event served as a platform for students to learn, connect, and experience the richness of different cultures firsthand.

Among the contests conducted were the Flag Activity, Inspirational Video Making Contest, UN Quiz Bee, and Jingle Making Contest, where students showcased their creativity, knowledge, and appreciation of different cultures around the world.

The club collected flags from every section and proudly displayed them around the campus, creating a vibrant , and festive atmosphere. Each activity highlighted the values of collaboration, critical thinking, and camaraderie, as students gave their best to represent their chosen countries. It was truly inspiring to see participants support one another, celebrate each other’s achievements, and embrace the spirit of unity and diversity throughout the events.

The celebration concluded with messages emphasizing unity, cooperation, and respect for diversity—values that continue to inspire students to become globally aware and responsible individuals. This memorable celebration left a lasting impact on everyone, reminding us of the power of learning and working together.

Now presenting the teams for this year’s United Nations Quiz Bee! With the theme “𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱,” these participants are ready to demonstrate that knowledge and unity can ignite lasting peace.

The Quiz Bee will focus on the flags of different countries and international organizations—highlighting global awareness and cooperation. It will take place at the Atrium of Novaliches High School Nagkaisang Nayon Senior High School Extension on October 16 at 1:00 PM.
