🔥 YFC Regional Focal Persons Gear Up for Season 6 Through Intensive Business Training! 🌱💼

Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) Focal Persons from different regions nationwide gathered for the YFC Season 6 Training of Trainers (TOT) conducted by the Department of Agriculture – Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (DA-AMAS) last May 25–29, 2026 at the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), Quezon City.

The training aimed to strengthen the skills and knowledge of YFC Focal Persons in business pitch development, effective business presentation, confidence-building in pitching, and the fundamentals of the Business Model Canvas and Business Plan preparation.

Through this initiative, DA-AMAS continues to empower YFC implementers to better guide and mentor aspiring young agripreneurs across the country toward building sustainable and innovative agri-based enterprises. 🌾🚀

🚜250 NCR Youth Rise to the Challenge and Take Part in the Growing YFC Community! 🇵🇭✨

The Department of Agriculture - Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (AMAS) successfully conducted the second leg of the Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) Season 6 Information Campaign across the National Capital Region in partnership with the Local Government Units of Parañaque City (May 14, 2026), Quezon City (May 15, 2026), and San Juan City (May 21, 2026). 👨‍🌾👩‍🌾

A total of 250 youth participants took part in the series of information campaigns aimed at empowering the next generation of agripreneurs and innovators in agriculture. 🌾💡

The activity also highlighted the opportunities available for the youth in agriculture, proving that farming and agribusiness can be innovative, profitable, and impactful for the future of the Philippines. 🇵🇭✨

The activity has gathered 𝟐𝟎 𝐅𝐂𝐀𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟒 𝐋𝐆𝐔𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐈𝐗, 𝐗, 𝐗𝐈, 𝐗𝐈𝐈, 𝐗𝐈𝐈𝐈, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐌. The activity intends to equip participating FCAs and LGUs with necessary knowledge and skills to effectively identify viable agri-enterprise projects and develop comprehensive business plans.⁣

This initiative forms part of DA-AMAS’ key strategies to strengthen the readiness of eligible proponents in complying with documentary and technical requirements for project proposal submission and evaluation, thereby enabling them to qualify for grant assistance under the Kadiwa Financial Grant Assistance Program.⁣

Further, this complements the Department’s continuing support to FCAs in ensuring business continuity amid rising fuel costs, while sustaining food production and promoting value-adding activities in the agriculture sector.⁣
