Turtle vs Tortoise

09/06/2026

From 6pm tonight, reserves around Canberra will close and ACT Government shooters will move in to turn these precious places into killing fields as they set out to kill over 3600 kangaroos plus hundreds of joeys. This is the second largest slaughter in the history of this ACT Government killing program 😭

Kangaroos just like the ones in these videos will be hunted down and shot. Mother’s will have their joeys ripped from their pouches and either bludgeoned to death or decapitated 💔

Families will be destroyed and any remaining kangaroos left alive after this will carry their grief and trauma forever.

This killing program is cruel and unnecessary.

Please write to the ACT Environment Minister, Suzanne Orr, and demand an end to this senseless killing

It doesn’t look very happy about the situation, but everyone else certainly is.
