A MOTHER'S HEART OFTEN BEGINS LONG BEFORE THE TITLE DOES 🤍

Before the greeting cards.
Before the flowers.
Before the world even notices her sacrifices.
Because motherhood was never only about giving birth.

And honestly, motherhood comes in so many forms. Hindi siya isang template lang na kailangan sundin ng lahat. (edi wow, may sariling storyline ang bawat mother dear)

This day is for the moms na halos walang tulog kakaisip sa pamilya nila.
The moms raising children while chasing deadlines.
The business owners replying to emails habang may batang kumakatok sa pinto. (CEO by day, snack provider by night yarn)
The women praying to become mothers one day.
The ones who experienced loss but still carry love so deeply in their hearts.
The aunties, godmothers, bonus moms, and women who became a safe place for others. (mothering kahit walang official job description charot)

This day is for the women trying so hard to become mothers.
Yung ilang beses nang umasa, nag-pray, nasaktan, pero patuloy pa rin nagmamahal kahit hindi pa nahahawakan yung hinihintay nila.
Not every mother gets celebrated loudly.
Some continue loving quietly behind closed doors.

And... this day is also for the mothers who experienced loss.
The kind of love na sobrang lalim kahit sandali lang nila nakasama yung child nila.
The quiet grief people do not always understand, but never truly leaves. (sending hugs with consent, mhie)

So if nobody tells you this today:

You are appreciated.
You are important.
You are doing more than you think.
But your love matters.
Your sacrifices matter.
You matter. (oo ikaw na pagod pero tuloy pa rin pumasok sa life)

Because motherhood is not measured by flowers, greetings, or Instagram posts. (kahit gusto rin natin ng flowers syempre HAHAHA)

It is measured by love.
By sacrifice.
By patience.
By the way you continue showing up even on the days you feel exhausted. It is choosing to love over and over again, even on difficult days.

And that kind of love deserves to be celebrated. 🤍
