A Rescuer is a person who rescues something from harm or danger. The job as a rescuer is to mainly to save lives during a dangerous environments.

They are trained in technical rescue, diver rescue, mountain rescue, extrication rescue, or/and advance technical firefighting. The term is commonly used with people who are doing an rescue and in some careers use "Rescuer" as the job title.
