BIR Revenue Region No. 7A - Quezon City recently conducted a Gender and Development (GAD) Orientation for newly hired employees, reinforcing its commitment to fostering an inclusive and gender-responsive workplace.

The activity formally opened with an inspiring message from Regional Director Eric Diesto, who emphasized the importance of integrating GAD principles in public service. The session was enriched by Resource Speaker Marita Pimentel, who shared valuable insights on gender sensitivity, equality, and the role of employees in promoting these ideals within the organization.

The program concluded with a meaningful closing message from Assistant Regional Director Cynthia Lobo, encouraging participants to apply what they have learned and actively contribute to building a more inclusive work environment.

BIR Revenue Region No. 7A - QC GFPS joins the entire nation and the Christian community in observing this Holy Week.

This sacred season reminds us of the life, sacrifice, and unconditional love of Jesus Christ, who gave His life for the salvation of humanity. It is a time to reflect on His teachings of compassion, humility, and forgiveness and to renew our faith through prayer and acts of kindness.

May His example guide us in strengthening our families through love and understanding, in building compassionate and united communities, and in fostering integrity, respect, and service in our workplace.

As part of our 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, we successfully conducted a film showing of “Lakambini: Gregoria de Jesus”, a powerful story that highlights the strength, struggles, and resilience of women. 🎥🧡

The activity was made even more meaningful through the inspiring message of our Regional Director, Rodel S. Buenaobra, and with the presence of one of the film’s creators, Ms. Ellen Ongkeko-Marfil, who shared valuable insights about the film and its message.

Through this activity, we aim to deepen awareness, inspire action, and strengthen our collective stand against all forms of violence. Together, let us continue to advocate for a VAW-free community.

The Training of CODI and GFPS Members on Handling Anti-Sexual Harassment Cases was successfully conducted last November 21, 2025, empowering participants with the skills and sensitivity needed to address ASH concerns effectively. The session was opened with meaningful and inspiring remarks from Regional Director Rodel S. Buenaobra.

Together, we continue to uphold integrity, accountability, and gender-fair practices in our institution.
