Dasmariรฑas City, Cavite โ BGEN FERDINAND GEMINIC P RAMIREZ PA, Commander, AFPRESCOM, together with BGEN JOSE DEMAR A PAULY COP, Dean, Corp of Professors, visited the 1st AFP National College of Science and Technology (NCST), Education and Training Battalion, as part of the AFP Affiliated Reserve Units (AFPARUs) visitation and inspection program to assess and evaluate reserve force readiness.
During the visit, the unit presented its accomplishments, operational readiness, and organizational initiatives, including the introduction of the 1st AFP NCST ETBn Command application, showcasing its commitment to innovation and efficient unit management.
In his message to the troops, BGEN RAMIREZ commended the unit members for their volunteerism, dedication, and professionalism. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a capable, disciplined, and mission-ready reserve force. The visit further aimed to strengthen coordination, validate operational readiness, and reinforce AFPRESCOMโs commitment to developing a capable, responsive, and dependable AFP reserve force in support of national defense and nation-building efforts.

CAMP GENERAL EMILIO AGUINALDO, Quezon City โ Demonstrating their unwavering commitment to service and operational preparedness, members of the Technical Administrative Service (TAS) Ready Reserve NCR assembled at Lapu-Lapu Hall, Headquarters AFPRESCOM, for the conduct of the Assembly of TAS Ready Reserve NCR.
The activity served as a significant platform for troop accounting, personnel data updating, staff dissemination, and leadership engagement, ensuring that reservists remain organized, informed, and ready to respond to the demands of national service. The program featured a troop presentation, an open forum, and informative discussions that strengthened coordination and fostered camaraderie among members of the AFP Reserve Force.
Highlighting the event was the message of COL JOSE TADEO M JAVIER II PAF (MNSA), Deputy Commander, AFPRESCOM, who emphasized that the assembly was far more than a routine administrative activity. He underscored that every reservist present, every record updated, and every commitment renewed contribute to building a reserve force that is dependable, responsive, and mission-ready. He further stressed that readiness is achieved through discipline, professionalism, competence, and the collective dedication of every member of the organization.
COL JAVIER also paid tribute to the sacrifices of every reservist who continues to balance their military responsibilities with their careers, families, and personal commitments. He reaffirmed AFPRESCOMโs commitment to enhancing the reservist capacity-building program, awareness- raising to modern systems and technical advancements, and providing stronger institutional support to ensure a capable and future-ready reserve force.
The assembly concluded with TAS data updating, a PAFCPIC informative drive, and a static display tour, providing participants with valuable opportunities to enhance their awareness and engagement. More importantly, the gathering reinforced the shared responsibility of every reservist in maintaining a credible, responsive, and operationally prepared reserve force ready to answer the call of duty whenever the nation requires.

In a continuing effort to ensure the accuracy and integrity of reservist records, a team from the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Command (AFPRESCOM) conducted an inter-command coordination visit to the Headquarters of the Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA) on 26 May 2026.
The AFPRESCOM delegation, led by CAPT ARNOLD D VALIDA PN(GSC), Director of the AFP Wide Support and Separate Unit Reserve Center (AFPWSSU RC), and LTC AMANDO N MONCAYO JR (CE) PA, Deputy JRS1, visited RESCOM, PA to verify and validate the list and issued serial numbers of non-AFPRESCOM trained reservists as part of the Commandโs ongoing reservist records cleansing initiative.
Upon arrival, the team was warmly welcomed by the RESCOM, PA leadership, and provided with a briefing on the Commandโs history and organizational development. The visit also included a courtesy call on BGEN PATRICIO S TOMALES PA, Deputy Commander of RESCOM, PA, together with key staff officers.
A productive conference followed, where issues and concerns regarding reservist records were presented by CPT JOAQUIN PIO AGUIRRE MAC, Group Commander of the Technical and Administrative Service Reserve Group. In response, RESCOM, PA provided a comprehensive report covering 1,560 enlisted reservists linked to AFPRESCOM, fostering meaningful discussions aimed at improving records management and coordination between the two Commands.
The engagement concluded with valuable recommendations from the RESCOM, PA leadership, including further coordination with OG9, Philippine Army to support AFPRESCOMโs records validation efforts. CAPT VALIDA PN (GSC) expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and constructive dialogue, reaffirming AFPRESCOMโs commitment to strengthening collaboration with RESCOM, PA in pursuit of accurate reservist records and more efficient reserve force administration.
For his part, BGEN Tomales conveyed his appreciation for the visit and assured RESCOM, PAโs continued support to AFPRESCOMโs cleansing initiative and future collaborative activities.
The coordination visit underscored the strong partnership between AFPRESCOM and RESCOM, PA, highlighting their shared commitment to maintaining reliable reservist records, enhancing administrative efficiency, and strengthening the overall readiness of the Reserve Force.

AFPRESCOM paid a courtesy visit to PAFCPIC on 22 May 2026 to coordinate an information drive for AFPRESCOM reservists and AFP personnel who are not yet members of the cooperative. Led by CAPT ARNOLD D VALIDA PN(GSC) and CPT JOAQUIN PIO I AGUIRRE MAC, the team met with Ms. Marissa B. Aramponi, Manager of PAFCPIC CGEA, Quezon City, to discuss membership benefits and outreach activities.
During the meeting, PAFCPIC presented its financial services (competitive rates, tailored products, lifetime membership for AFP reservists) and outlined an info drive with briefings, materials, and on-site registration. AFPRESCOM thanked PAFCPIC and pledged to support outreach for financial awareness and membership.

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City โ The Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Command (AFPRESCOM) strengthened its commitment to advancing reservist capability and operational readiness through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony with Armscor Shooting Center Inc. (ASCI) on 28 May 2026 at the lobby of Headquarters AFPRESCOM.
The ceremony gathered Organic Personnel of AFPRESCOM, guests, and representatives from ARMSCOR in a meaningful event that highlighted the growing partnership between the reserve force and the private sector in promoting preparedness, discipline, and professionalism.
The program opened with remarks from VADM RAMIL ROBERTO B ENRIQUEZ PN (Ret), Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ASCI, who emphasized the value of cooperation in supporting national defense initiatives and enhancing fi****ms proficiency training for reservists.
A key highlight of the activity was the introduction of the โLaang Kawal Pistolโ by Sgt Noell Andre R Samala, Marketing Head of ASCI, showcasing ARMSCORโs continued support for training and readiness initiatives.
The formal signing of the MOA between BGEN FERDINAND GEMINIC P RAMIREZ PA, Commander of AFP Reserve Command, and VADM ENRIQUEZ symbolized the shared commitment of AFPRESCOM and ARMSCOR to strengthen collaboration and capability-building efforts.
In his closing remarks, BGEN RAMIREZ expressed his sincere gratitude to ARMSCOR for its trust and unwavering support to AFPRESCOM. He underscored that the partnership represents more than a ceremonial agreement but a shared responsibility to improve, adapt, and prepare for future challenges. He further emphasized, โTrue strength is built not only through equipment and training, but through trust, cooperation, and shared vision.โ
The activity concluded with a photo opportunity session, followed by a demonstration of Rock Island Armory firearm units at the CGEA Firing Range and a fellowship lunch among participants and guests.

BARAS, Rizal โ Reservist Candidates (RCs) under Military Orientation Training (MOT) Classes 04 and 05-2026 completed an intensive series of Field Training Exercises (FTX) and Familiarization Firing activities during Exercise Plan โPAGSASANAYโ 02-2026 on 24 May 2026 at Sitio Galaxy, Brgy. Pinugay, Baras, Rizal.
The training activities were facilitated by Team JRFDC together with its support personnel, in close coordination with the Headquarters of the 80th Infantry (Steadfast) Battalion, 202nd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Philippine Army. The exercise aimed to strengthen the traineesโ tactical competence, discipline, teamwork, and weapon-handling proficiency in preparation for future reserve duties.
During the FTX, the Reservist Candidates were immersed in realistic battle drill scenarios that challenged their responsiveness, coordination, and adaptability in simulated operational environments. The hands-on activities provided valuable experience in applying military fundamentals while fostering camaraderie and teamwork among the trainees.
Meanwhile, the Familiarization Firing activity, supervised by H80IB personnel serving as Range Masters, equipped the trainees with practical knowledge on the safe handling and proper firing of individual weapons. Conducted in a systematic and well-organized manner, the activity further enhanced the confidence, discipline, and preparedness of the Reservist Candidates while ensuring strict adherence to firearm safety protocols.
Exercise Plan โPAGSASANAYโ 02-2026 concluded successfully, highlighting AFPRESCOMโs continuing commitment to developing disciplined, capable, and mission-ready reservists prepared to support national defense and security efforts.
